You sure have the techniques goin on. Best fish I've had is fat cold water trout when I immediately gutted them and cooked them over a fire on a stick like a hot dog. Fish, the right fish, is really tasty on it's own. Sushi is even simpler, and I've eaten trout raw. I was a little squeamish, but it's excellent. Of course nice fried fish with spices and breading can be amazing too. So what did I start out to say? lol. I think I'm going to start bleeding cleaning and icing my fish, unless I cook them immediately. I usually ice them right out of the water anyway. I'm not a huge fan of bacteria. Unless it's yogurt: .

Between you and Gabe you make me jealous. I could be in the middle of the ocean and I would snag a tree. Lol.
I have the worst luck fishing but always enjoyed the time doing it.
I hope this coming year we buy a small boat do my wife and I can go out and fish.

if you're gonna call out bleeding your fish, then you should really educate yourself and your viewers on the benefits of ike jime. Not only is it a more ethical kill, but it makes the fish taste so much better
