It s nice to see the next generation of your family taking an interest in what you and your father have built. Man, I sympathize with you with the headache. I love fishing and have done it all my life and love tournament fishing, but that stress level when you know you have to cut a check, that's why I found a place with full time a 401K and insurance.

Coosa River lakes specifically Weiss and Neely Henry haven t been good the past 2-3 years. I m on Weiss every weekend. I blame it on a surge in gar and carp as well as the flooding the past 3 years just prior to the spawn.

White bass are great to eat, you must either remove the red line area, or soak the fillets in some EXTREMELY salty water for a 1/2 hour. Water will turn slimy. Rinse till clear, then treat like large mouth fillets.

Flooded creeks might been good, move fish up looking in creeks for more food, I do really good catching walleye and small mouth like that, creeks full of small bait fish and crawfish like a buffet.
