The Disappointment PC 2020: Worst Parts of the Year

Using the worst PC parts of 2020, we now have the newest Disappointment PC -- except there's one major problem, and it's that not even the worst parts are to be found. This type of content is a ton of work. We really appreciate everyone's interest in our Disappointment PC series and put more effort into this video than probably any other edit this year. It was days of work to do the filming, editing, and even the story this time. To support our work on projects like this (and also to help fund our future in-depth testing overhauls for 2021), please consider buying a Disappointment PC shirt for 2020

Yeah I just bought the 3800xt. But there is nothing to regret for me. In germany the 3800xt cost only 10 more than 3700x and at that price it is the better cpu to get. And the 5600x cost about 30-40 more than 3800xt. And cause I am not a hardcore gamer and I edit videos a bit more, the 3800xt was the perfect match for me. So don't just take the videos as it is .I know he has valid reasons but think for yourself, make your own research and you will get the best cpu for you.

My main problem was and sadly still is me needing a gpu and not being able to get one at all. not even a 20 series gpu... havent played any of the 2018 and 2019 tripple games yet...
The cpu names is a complete non issues to me and i honestly dont get the issue. higher is better as simple as that. Maby harder to remember on the laptop parts but meh not a issues.

Really wish you would have mentioned the INSANE pricing on the RX 6000 series cards. MSRP on the 6800XT is supposed to be 649.99 and AIB custom air cooled cards typically START near, at, or above 800 with AIB partners claiming the thinnest profit margins ever. The customers are being BLATANTLY lied to by someone and nobody has really dug into this.

You know its been a pretty good year for hardware releases when the most disappointing parts would still make a damn good machine (3800XT & RTX 3090). The only problem with those parts is value for money, competing components from the same manufactures that perform the same for less money.

For me the Greedvidia pulled on hardware unboxed was reason that I went with 6800xt .
PS: both of em not in stock here and around 800 euros so yea i dont lose anything its just i waited and saved up whole 2020 to build system i wanted. CPU 5900 since 5950 was 300 euros more expensive.

I would very much like to see a video that highlights the positives (although few) that this year brought to us...the good things that you guys have seen in the industry. There has been so much negativity this past year and it would be nice to see some positives in the industry.

Your best intro so far! I feel you should make an assembled montage of your intros. Also, please remain being the source for honest reviews. Sure I know that for some people, their eyes glaze over the endless barchart plots, but it's what makes gamers' nexus so trustworthy

I've seen streamers praising ray tracing when streaming games, Cyberpunk being the latest iteration of this. it is clear Nvidia is moving more to streamers to promote products. Streamers of course get free cards and don't review the product.

profiting from suffering . AMD was to worst to me: big FU to zen 2 users, ( b450 - b550 blunder- SAM pcie4 gen removal) big FU to pc gamers (console focus, no gpu stock, etc) price hike. also i got a 5600x so no intel fanboy

This is probably my favourite intro y'all have ever done. I lost it with the MSI mascot peering at Steve in the dirt. Excellent recap - I had actually forgotten about some of these!
