Don't think agriculture is such a nice ally to have in this. From reading closer about this it seems like a lot of farmers are interested in removing environmental restrictions from their equipment to save money.
Someone blaming a software restriction for keeping their equipment from running but failing to mention that it's not running because it would be an environmental hazard runs kind of counter to what some recycling focused people are interested in doing with repairs.
And if I remember correctly there was this insane thing where they screw around with tractors to use them in illegal racing. If the latter sounds dumb to you, yeah sounds dumb to me as well but that just goes to show the insane BS some people are willing to warranty for.
Anyhow, it's not nice to have someone on your side who might discredit your claim with greed or sheer backwater idiocy.

Right to repair should just mean more after market support in terms of getting parts and service info for third party repair shops. You get every idiot out there messing up their electronics, cars, equipment then require the manufactures to fix or replace it is going to be bad. I am technician at Volvo and see ridiculous things all the time on trucks and heavy equipment. Only way that works is if the manufacture is required to sell parts and repair manuals and if the customer then proves that if something went wrong that wasn t their fault that they had been following proper procedure. Manufactures already pay a lot covering the mistakes of their own employees, itd be asinine to require them to also pay for the mistakes of every Tom dock and Henry out there that thinks they are super mechanic, computer tech, so on and so forth.

What 3nm and 2nm really means is that there starting to make more than one lithography cut to get transister to size and parity and binning suffers in a binary fashion. FYI 3nm is really 3.5nm because its a double lithography cut of the same ultraviolet lithography of tsmc 7nm and 2nm is really triple lithography cut samsung 8nm. Because fabs in the most basic English fashion is machines making better machines by using a single wave of light of a wavelength of light from a laser as cutting tools. something of science fiction if you was to time travel back to August 29th 1997 and asked people who still think a dremal is the coolest precision cutting tool wich even on original gangster judgment day was not true by a long shot!

Intel GPU's.
I'll wait for GN to fully check it out, then I'll probably give it a few years for it to be at the stage of becoming a viable choice with the other 2.
On the surface, this past year has taught us that just 2 manufacturers just cant meet the market volume needs, when demand spikes, and thats probably what intel see as well. Give a company in the space a high demand market for something they dont do, and they will.
But ... if they make it ongoing proprietary to intel platforms only, I think its fair to say now that it will remain a nogo.
And I would bet I'm not alone with that.

why the hell would they make 2060's instead of 3050's if its not old stock. no one really wants to buy 20 series when its time to buy 30 series cards. like cmon that would be wasting factory time on a superseded model. and to make it worst theres a reason we didnt buy 2060's before the 30 series came out and thats cause it wasnt worth the money for us. like seriously are they going to keep it at its msrp or are they going to lower it to like 100 . cause at its launched msrp its no longer worth that price when they announced the 3060 to be 329 .

That's the card in the new gaming rig I bought in September...
Whilst I was waiting for it to be built nVidia announced the 30 series and I was worried I'd made a bad move.
But, having seen the retail shortages for the cards and how much built systems are with the latest graphics cards, I think I did the right thing. By the time the warranty is up the cards should be widely available. And I went for a PCIe4 motherboard.

Intel moving to Vietnam wise decision!! That will gain them independence of china who likely will hate to see more and more companies move to countries like Indian and Vietnam. Hopefully they can fix the demand and bring some good stuff.

Well right now on Ebay, 2060's are going for 400 with the 2060 Supers going for 600! Newegg posted 1650's yesterday morning for 200 and they sold out in about a Hour! They're probably on Ebay now also!! LOL!

If they gonna sell RTX 2060 at 150 (or even 200 while there's this shortage) everywhere in the world, then this would've been the new budget king, otherwise, who cares, it's a 2-3 year old silicon
