Honestly maybe that shortage is the best that could happen to gaming. AAA publishers have to focus on good gameplay now as no one can buy cards that could render the new fancy blender shit? Imagine one ea game that you play like crazy because it's fun and not because they trick you with unlocks and other psychological crap to keep you engaged
To rockstar...did you all forget how they called all pc users pirates and abandoned the pc community. Why are you giving them money? I don't understand

I am pretty sure very few enthusiast gamer with high end rigs really fills in survey. I mean we are the people who always install adblocks, javascript blockers and such on our browsers etc because ads, surveys etc time wasters frustrate us. Hell whenever Steam pops up and offers the survey I almost say out loud F OFF! and I'd rather have an option to never bother me with that shit again. I currently have RTX3070 so at least one Steam user has one even if I do not show in the list. :]

Finally received toolkit! I love it, quality is very similar to some other expensive driver kits I have though it has thicker diameter shafts. This one's autographed, which is nice but only initialled rather than fully signed. After i've watched this I am going to rebuild my lounge tower :) Get it all cleaned out and overclock it a bit.
Really great quality drivers, nice weight to them in your hand and the GN branding is excellent. Nice work Steve + your team!

OVERCLOCKING is not overclocking. Back in the day CPU makers made their CPU as fast as they could stable. Now they make them as fast as they can then dial them back 500mhz atleast. Then slap a K on it and let you increase the 500mhz back again and you call it overclocking.
If NDA holds up (which it does) we'll never know what intel or AMD really had those chips running stable and what they could have had brought to market.

I wonder how Nvidia's claims that they've shipped millions of 30 series GPUs to gamers but can't keep up with the demand makes sense with the fact that their GPUs are pretty much non existent on the Steam Hardware survey after almost 7 months. Does that mean that these millions of units are not used for gaming? I wonder how Nvidia can explain this, I really do.

The thing with GTA 5 is that anything above 140 FPS will result in a stuttery mess. Not only that, grass in particular is hard on the engine itself, you can have a beast of a computer, but having grass details maxed out will tank you FPS. I went from 30 FPS when i was driving or running around in grass fields, to 80-100 FPS just by putting it to normal.

Philips is getting their cash overseas from their ONE COUNTRY ALONE best lightbulbs designed in the world, to fight and get dirty with anyone they can lately. Yeah, incredibly bright, insanely low power usage, and outrageously long lived bulbs... to only be sold to one country.. and the rest of the world can just cry. Dubai pre-apocalypse buy.

Shitloads of miner and scalpers buying up all the cards, saw a advertisement for 50+ cards RTX 3060TI, 3070 and 3080 by a private seller on one our largest advertisement sites... I managed to get my hands on a 3070(from a retailer) while waiting for my 3080 i pre ordered, was a bit more but sold my old GTX 1080TI for good money so...

I would guess that the reduction in multi-gpu systems is really a reduction in Intel CPU marketshare -- Intel CPUs typically come with integrated graphics, which when paired with a dGPU makes a multi-gpu system by their weird metrics. Whereas AMD CPUs typically don't have an iGPU, and hence create a single-GPU system.
