Microsoft: stop updating the UI. NOBODY ACTUALLY ASKS FOR A NEW UI ON BASIC THINGS LIKE THE FILE EXPLORER.
We're asking for things like a proper update rollback feature in case an update fails in a way that isn't recoverable so we don't just lose all of our data....
We're asking you to let us permanently disable windows defender without having to get another antivirus or use registry edits that you break every update (windows defender reduces the lifespan of your drives substantially by constantly reading your files all day everyday, making it the most inefficient antivirus ever).....
We're asking you to stop rolling back certain parts of our settings every update. Give us a what's new window that clearly tells us what the new features are and what settings are new... also tell us what was our old setting and what is the new setting so we can decide for ourselves if we want it.
We want you to stop turning on drive encryption automatically just because we cloned our boot drive.
Basic recovery and quality of life features that would've prevented the last 20 or so years of my pc is bricked help posts on every tech forum ever.
EDIT: Looks like the classic shell developers have their work cut out for them.

You paid how much for a fan test?
Seriously you have been taken there.
Fan testing is carried out in a controlled environment a measured box with a mount and a sealable door on the other side.
A coned front and a MAF sensor mounted to the cone to measure air flow.
A short box with a pressure sensor, for measure of the pressure.
A mic for noise.
And a clear tunnel attachment and a dry ice for smoked and turb flow and a high speed camera...
Once you have it set up with a Uno you can standardized the test due to your testing would be the standard and you have calibration you can use from other tools to ensure its accuracy.
A MAF sensor is a simple device found on cars and most modern engines.
Pressure sensors this is a easy to make twist resistance measure on a fine leaf.or weight/scales, possibly both.
Making the unit from steel and having it tig welded and designed to allow for sensors, doors (that seal - wax string gully doors) should take more than a day for a DIY person to make, about 2 hours for a pro with a work shop.
Should cost around 300 max.

What they need to do is remove all the heavy graphic stuff in Windows and have a nerd mode you can run it in, so you only have to use 1/3 of the HDD space usage, and make the menues more simple and direct and in line with the older and better versions. There is a lot of fluff in Windows. Also they should make a mode for it that audiophile users can switch over to which gives a much lower latency mode. It should also be possible to run Windows in 98 mode, XP mode, and win 7 mode, instead of this modern/confusing mode that has an indirect route.

I hate the sound of all the changes Microsoft is talking about for Windows... I don't like rounded UIs, or overly complicated icons -- why can't they leave it alone? Or at least give an option? _not everyone likes the same thing, Microsoft_
But I'm also wondering if they're backpedaling on the last version of Windows thing, or if it's going to be version number 11 but just Windows in name (I figured they would drop the 10 from Windows 10 eventually)

I hope Dell crashes and burns. They deserve every lawsuit they get, as far as I'm concerned.
Windows 11 will probably be as big of a mess as Windows 10, so yay for more Microsoft garbage, and speaking of garbage, Atari's scambox needs to just go away already. Atari is such a bunch of opportunist liars, and the absolute mess leading up to the release of the VCS shouldn't be forgotten just because they managed to release this overpriced thing.

I can't wait to see the fan testing videos start to come out. I know very little about pressure and airflow and all the other little details that go into air cooling so I'm very excited to see the results of the tests. Especially thankful for the modifications being done to accommodate 200mm fans so I can see if there's a benefit in keeping the two intake fans in my H500p mesh

I foresee a very vista-esque upcoming flop from the creators of the o so very stable millennium edition. Probably expanding the windows appstore to such an extent that it will comfortably reside on your 3090ti additionally with spare system memory, used as a sort of rendering cache,up to a minimum of 640GB.
There you go the leak of the century.

The fan testing machine should be a capital asset so you should be able to put it against your taxes. Er, im terrible at wording but if you wanna understand better look at the sonneborn model. It might help you get return on investment sooner by minimising your taxes. Hope this helps if you didnt know about it.

From a business side dell has been all too and I've used them for 16 years. They wanted over 500 to replace a chromebook webcam. I replaced it myself for 11 dollars . It was only a little over a year old and they still sell the same model. Worst part was brand new it was 235 dollars (with bulk discounts )
