HW News - EVGA Goes AMD, Ryzen Project Hydra, 80GB NVIDIA GPUs

We interviewed EVGA and KINGPIN about the two new AMD X570 motherboards, spoke with 1usmus about AMD Ryzen Hydra, but we'll also cover 80GB NVIDIA A100 GPUs. Gare: With all the AMD motherboard manufacturers managing to screw up something recently (especially MSI and ASRock), and though that's admittedly partially on AMD for their crappy AEGESA updates, having more competition in the form of EVGA can only be a good thing for everyone.

Definitely interested in the Hydra software. Ryzen Master is annoying to use. Everytime it updates it just resets my profiles and sometimes just doesn't apply settings or doesn't work.

I want an EVGA 6800X successor! But boards are really cool, too. I'm looking forward to see new Motherboards. Maybe also some less OC focused Mainstreams boards for the future?

Oc my 5800x Hahaha hell no, i had to limit its boost to 4.1 and lower its voltage to 1.175 to get decent temps in that freaking thing not touching it anymore. Using a fuma 2

Me: Holy shit EVGA is making AMD gpus now?
Steve: EVGA is not making AMD gpus
Almost had to go outside and make sure it was actually raining water for a second

I hope they make ddr5 boards. Whenever that is actually affordable I ll maybe give one of these mobos a try. It would be cool to Do a full evga build.

Hopefully they make some affordable boards, i dont want to pay through the teeth for the 90 degree rotated connectors and post code readouts

How am I supposed to wake up for night shift to your videos when you release them in the morning?
Always look forward to your videos

EVGA should stop dragging their feet and start work on AMD GPU's as well. They are a good brand and the market will only benefit.
