regarding 4D components weather accessories or main systems components mean they are atleast reconfigurable, although open-source and still under warranties and or guarantees would also be desired feature, so the end user can manufacture them if they have the required infrastructure functional.
With silly planetary and beyond, trade embargoes no jurisdiction is going to trust any manufacturer from another jurisdiction, and the entire factories will need to be funded, made functional, and the required quality controls and production targets met at the trading jurisdictions at par with the best.

Gonna add on 9:44 that the stacking causes a higher heat output than normal dies, since you have more silicon in a same area, so AMD probably has to sand down the package anyway to give better heat dissipation properties.
On Intel Alder Lake the package z-height has increased and yet they are still sanding down the dies and IHS to help with heat dissipation. This also makes the total socket z-height lower than 115X (and incompatible) to further help heat dissipation from Foveros packaging.

mcm cost savings seems nice yet i bet costs wont go down for us history of pricing shows that prices tend to only go up and never go back down to previous levels. wont hold my breath that midrange gpu's will return to the 200/250 range... ie the rx480/580 ,1060 range.
also find it funny that the ampere top end quadro is 4500 while the rtx 8000 was 10000 ... seems only the pro/enterprise market is getting lower prices while gaming is skyrocketing...

The Dell power supply review had me thinking.
Why would dell, who seem to do everything possible to skimp and cut corners, spend to make a proprietary psu that is actually EXCELLENT?
Maybe because a faulty psu is probably the most dangerous place to cut corners, and it will also leave them open to the most lawsuits if they fail/explode

You should report on the NUC11PHKi7C being sold in February yet still not shipping well over 100 days later. It looks like Intel lied to vendors with in the intention of preventing people from buying competing AMD products in late spring/early summer.

Tesla put Cyberpunk 2077 on because...
Elon Musk wanted to contrast how good Tesla's are compared to a crappy driving experince?
(having said that, bonus points for crashing your Tesla at the same time as crashing in CP2077)

I hope for the new zen chips, AMD will use the idea from 3d v-cache then applies to stacking the cores. plus they will have much smaller nm size to compensate the heat output problem when they have to stack the cores.

Xbox Series whatever-at-this-point , MS should have just called their latest-gen hardware Xbox X and Xbox S. Or Xbox Ultra 5G Green Devil for all I care, but naming consistency across hardware generations is non-existent.
