2.77 Cheapest Possible CPU Cooler Jonsbo CR1200 Benchmarks & Review
video description
Honestly I am glad that China produces stuff like this, honestly when america used to produce cheap crap, it really was cheap crap, China is surprisingly good at producing cheap stuff that does the bare minimum and thats all which can be expected.

Ok, people say can't do cheaper, well, put the real price of your copper and aluminum sheets and pipes by weight when the manufacturing made by robot and make a real 10 to 50% profit = CR1200. Even with the nice box and the rest. The same of Nvidia vs AMD, a GPU top end chip is a GPU chip with vram, don't like one name, your problem. Nvidia is made in China and nobody wonder why they are really more expensive, think about it mostly when they raise and drop the price in the same night to make profit with the people waiting with the product likes or internet baskets with GPU waiting to be paid.

Built a system for my father-in-law to upgrad him out of useing a swich to play Fortnite. With mostly recycled parts/used parts besides 1TB Crucial SSD. And DDR3 2x8 GB ram kit It was a i5 4590 and Evga 1660 RIP EVGA. But its running stock cooling this would be somthing i could have seen using if i shoped alie but. Most stuff i had on hand or got for free. Its CPU bottlenecked but runs fortnite at 120 fps vs his 30 ( low/ performace settings 100% resolution )with the swich and he actualy wasnt loading in until the bus was in the air... now he knows there is a lobby Island

9:40 why do you only test the Wraith Prism with the speed switch on the cooler set to LOW? The max speed should be about 3800 RPM when the switch is set to H, and 2900 on L, so it's clear you are only using LOW.
The speed switch is just there as a lazy way for people to reduce the noise without needing to adjust a fan curve, but when performing max fan speed testing, it is a bit of a disservice to test this cooler with the fan artificially limited compared to what it is capable of when run with the fan speed switch set to H and allowed to actually reach maximum.

I get that the draw is the budget pricing. However, there surely has to be somewhere in your build that you can cut a couple of dollars here and there and get a cooler that more than just barely functional. If not, and you're using an AMD CPU that comes with a cooler, just use that one until you can afford a better cooler. The beauty of building your own computer is the upgradability of it. If you're already scraping the bottom of your wallet, and you have to get this cooler, then make replacing it priority number one (as far as upgrades go).

Either these coolers are, like, slightly defected, maybe like scratched or something, and are actually rejected from sale and just repurposed from scrapping, or they are a stock that wasn't sold. Like when you get a free cooler with cpu, maybe it's just that thing, it's just all those leftover coolers from combo packages. Even as cheap as materials and manufacturing costs are, it still probably costs over 3 in materials and labor. There's literally 0 way they're producing it for any kind of profit.

I've only recently started using Aliexpress and one thing that I started doing intuitively is only considering product listings with a higher number of orders. I almost feel as though the reason for the low price on things like this is to bump up the order volume so that when they change the price to something higher people see the large number of orders and go for that listing due to the perceived trustworthiness it has over cheap listings for the same product with fewer orders.

I had a thought from the past. Before the internet compute stores that built desktops like to shed costs and cut corners. One of them was purchasing (still is) after market fans instead of using stock intel fans or before that a good quality ball bearing fan. I could picture a shop ordering a case of these things and pushing them out the door. So for those of you that are younger are asking. What is the problem with that. Well both machines would sell for say 1,200. Ouch.

I would be very interested in a fan review of the SilverStone FHP141, because they seem to be suitable for all purposes (except silence).
It can be used as 140mm and 120mm fan, has a switch for quiet vs performance usage, is thicker than usual with 38mm and can push some air!
I use them in my main PC and am really happy with them, but I would not trust my own tests, since I have no equipment for those.
All I know is they can deliver more air than Noctua NF-A14.

It would make sense if you have a lot of desktops and you could buy a couple of these to have as an emergency repair. They don't cost much so you don't care about investing in something that just waits to be used, maybe... And since it has a lot of compatibility - you will find use for it, sooner or later.
Also I am sure repair shops love this. Someone with a broken Wraith/Spire could come in and get serviced for a high margin :)

Woah. 5:25 That picture of the dimensions you actually need to know if a cooler fits in your case or not is worth 500% of the price of this thing. I've bought a few coolers, but when you hit a product page that says 200x65 and nothing else, how do you know if it clears ram, if it is measuring to the top of the heat pipes sticking out, or compare that number to any part of your build in a meaningful way.

I would like to see a comparison with air coolers from a decade ago. I have a thermalright 120 ultra extreme from 2008 and my core 2 q6600 system and I'm still using it with my Ryzen 5600 o/ced and I don't see any reason to change it. Is there a performance difference with a new air cooler which make the change worth it? Thermalright had released compatibility brackets for am4 around 2018.

LGA 775 (T 2004 2009) - What's wrong with LGA 775? Though I have an AIO 775 Cooler that does multiple CPU support also.
Runs XP 32bit (4gb), XP Pro 64bit (8gb) Duel Boot.
Montech X1 White Case -
Vetroo V360 White Liquid CPU Cooler -
ASUS P5NSLI -
Intel LGA 775 Core 2 Duo E7600 3.06 ghz -
4x PC2-6400 2gb = 8 gb -
2x Geforce GT 230 1.5gb SLi

Speaking of weird and way too expensive, our old buddy Abkoncore once again delivers with the seductive but terrible AL300M. Fortunately, you may encounter availability issues. But who knows? Maybe you guys can find one, and with it an opportunity to incur emotional and financial damage. This comment will self-destruct in five seconds.

after seeing the pressure test results, I started wondering: would lapping the cooler to improve its flatness make a noticeable difference in performance? Iv heard of cpu lapping, but not cooler lapping. Curious to see if it would improve anything, on a cooler this cheap the extra work might be worth it haha
