I’m honestly sick of NVIDIA at this point. Prices are completely fcked because of them. The products feel low quality overall whether it’s the power cables, random black screens, or their shtty drivers. And that fake frame generation Don’t even get me started.
GPU prices are absolutely insane, like they’re from another planet. And now we’re seeing double pricing again with no real explanation. Or rather no excuse left.
Seriously, how is something like this even possible Antitrust laws are supposed to keep this kind of stuff in check, right Yet somehow, with every new generation, the quality keeps getting worse while more broken features get added it’s grown almost exponentially. And despite that, they just slap a double price tag on their GPUs like it’s nothing.
I don’t get how they managed to go in two completely opposite directions at the same time higher prices and lower quality. And as if that wasn’t enough, they’ve pushed memory prices to absurd levels too, and it feels like next they’ll start messing with CPUs as well.

Since this technology seems to be open source, nobody knows who did it, as the drone could be programmed by anyone, for anyone, and explodes upon completion of it's mission. Heavily suggested it could have been millions of people across the world with grudges finally having a tool to reach out and settle them.
Another cut and we are in a post apocalyptic scenario where 90% of everyone got killed and the rest are scared to step outside because the drones never stopped, it just took them longer to find their next target.

Even considering the ai rush will stay, all a competetor needs to do is drop above 32gb card, while still as slow as the old ones, even can be based on the same chip. The problem is that to run four of these cards, you can't just use a normal pc, you need overkill gaming or more server grade tech(4x pcie x16 gen4/5 bruhhhh, ofc may be slower but what's the point of multigpu then). While that isn't cheap nor grows on trees, the same card that just has 128gb instead of 4x32gb cards will be a few times faster, easier to use, compatible with ANY pc, compatible with much more workloads and software, draw much less power, and so on and on....
When people will realize that they can spec those gpus with vram like consumers can PCs with ram Does anyonone buy another computer and daizy-chain them together just to have more ram

What gets me is its the fact that these idiots running stuff think they are creating all this ai crap, but what they are creating is just a way for them to get pats on the back. They have just made ai/program to give them what they want..it don't have to be correct, good, factual, usefull or anything..its like us asking a question and always getting the answer we wanna hear vs the truth. Then, since they are so self absorbed, they run around thinking that they are so smart, so good, so knowledgable, so far above and ahead of us plebs..It ain't fixing anything. Its just making greedy, conceited, narcissitic, self centered, overlord mentality humans in powerful positions even WORSE! What happened, you ask Donald Trump was elected in 2016. His actions directly contributed to the pandemic that began in 2019. Then we had a president who was medically unable to actually sit in office, but instead of removing him, we allowed his term to be run by people in the background, which made things worse. Then, in 2024 we had only two options given to us. Trump again, or a woman who fully believed that you can choose what gender you actually are in spite of empirical fact. So the US overwhelmingly chose Trump, who is now doing all he can to sell off and destroy the US, while the current generation of adults were never taught in school about how our government is supposed to operate, or why any of this is bad. Result: anti freedom, anti consumer, and anti information allowing actions like false scarcity of products for increased prices.

Hey! Would love to see you cover a common but underreported issue with Asus Zephyrus laptops - the display cable failure. It starts as subtle screen flickering or artifacting when the lid is at certain angles, then progressively worsens until the screen goes completely black. The root cause is the eDP (display flex cable) running through the hinge area, which gets stressed and worn down over repeated lid movement. Some users have gone through multiple replacement units experiencing the same problem, suggesting it may be a design-level issue with how the cable is routed. Would be great to see a teardown or deep dive on this - a lot of Zephyrus owners don't realize what's happening until it's too late!

And we need to change our drivers that they never work offline and require an always online cloud connection so we can harvest all the data. Intel’s latest Ultra chips feel less like innovation and more like Intel trying to buy time. ARM isn’t beating them with raw clocks it’s beating them with efficiency, unified memory, and NPUs that are actually designed for modern workloads. Intel keeps adding more Ecores and more power draw, but it doesn’t solve the fundamental problem: x86 is carrying decades of baggage while ARM gets to design clean, efficient silicon from scratch. This isn’t Intel pushing forward it’s Intel trying not to fall behind.

Jenson telling people what to spend on his product is exactly like De Boers telling people how much to spend on an engagement ring.
There's a huge conflict of interest and yet people will take that guidance as law. The reason we have the notion that we should spend X% of our monthly salary on an engagement ring is from De Boer's own ads. When it worked they just kept upping the amount over the years - in subsequent ads. It doesn't bode well for us in this case either.

Anyone who thinks the Rump SC won't screw the public is an even bigger fool.
Even if they are ever miraculously held accountable do you think it will be more than a token fine Compounded foolishness.
I fully expect a bipartisan.. hell, probably Dem led, bill to exempt social media from any legal threat. They'll do what they are paid to.

The talk of CPUs and motherboards, cases, etc. is irrelevant now. No one can afford to upgrade or build without GPUs, RAM, SSD's and HDD's. The prices are insane. I've decided to give up on the whole PC upgrade hobby. It's over. And moving on to my other hobbies that I can still get value out of for my cash. I've spent my money on buying more watches for my collection. The thousands spent retains resale value and I get to enjoy them daily.

Funny how instead of making their crack less toxic they decided to put an age restriction on it. Makes you wonder if anyone there even considered that making it less hostile to humans and civilization might actually also make it safe for younger people. Just an idea you know, maybe try to be more like Cola and take the Coke out. But I suppose that's impossible without a government threatening to imprison you.
