I've found T-com kaon kstb4082 in a garbage bin without the remote, I've tested it with a power supply and it seems to work, but it doesn't go past the connecting screen since I don't have T-com connection in my house. I was wondering if it was possible to reflash the device with a homebrew os and reuse it for something else, but I don't know if it's android or linux based. I tried looking for documentation but haven't found anything online. They made sure it stays propriatery which is such a waste. Do you have any advice how to handle it since I don't have a remote and can't go past the connection screen

Concerning Nokia Streaming Box 8000. Root Reason; want a sleep-timer app eg. AutoOff - Shutdown Timer, which I have used for years on my T95Z Plus (china box), which died a week ago.
KingRoot does NOT do the job, it is stuck at 01% forever. I did the apk-files via PC & NAS, Chrome is not even available in store ! Like Nvidia Shield TV Pro, they go the Apple way ;-(

- It does not mention any of the requirements needed
- It does not warn users about the possible dangers
- It advocates for literally SpyWare - KingRoot is NOT SAFE TO USE, it also installs a background-service with internet access

King Root can work on boxes with android tv OS but the box you are using in this video is not runing android tv OS, its a normal version of android customized with a launcher that comes by default with root enabled or have a switch to enable it in android config

Good morning. Have an android skystream 3. Tried to follow your instruction on how to indtall kodi 19.5 with downloader. The box refuses to install. Have dev opt the usb debug finction enabled. Yet it ends with the message app not imstalled. Pls suggestions.

I tried the first time it was on landscape mode and the remote control didn't work on the app. Then I connected my tv to a wireless mouse, i was able to do everything you instructed until it froze at the preparing step and stayed on acquiring root 01%.

I'm going to try to root my device because this TV box I bought is overriding all my selections and not letting me be the true owner . And it also looks like the manufacturer is spying on all their customers by the app permissions list .
