New Studio Rack - Filling a 44U Rack from Scratch - Chris Titus Tech In this video, I am going over the 44U rack that will be in the background of the new studio. This is a from-scratch build but with time-lapses to showcase everything in one video. TP-Link Gigabit Switch - https://amzn.to/2Sk5ne6 Rack Monitor Mounts - https://amzn.to/2XY7UMa

so you are saying that you repurposed a lot of this tech, (also i looked it up and it ain't cheap getting all the parts fresh) so I was wondering if you got these from other people where would you go for this tech? thrift stores? people in the neighborhood? or should I go to a recycling center for computers please help me with this. thank you for your time! hope you have a great day & safe travels!

Noctua for life! In my Fractal Design Define R3, I've got 3x 140mm 3000RPM IPPC (2 front, 1 rear), a side exhaust 140mm Redux 1500RPM (for my GPU) with an NH-D15. Also grabbed the Noctua Fan Controller with a Gift Card from Newegg. I'll just never not use them. They're so damn good.

Thanks! 170 Hardware nerds just had Christmas in July. Reminds me of the old adage: there's no such thing as buying too many zip ties.
( p.s. please tell me you're going to tape over that empty 1u fan hole; that kinda triggered my build OCD ) :-)

What's the name of those two 1U racks below the TP-Link switch? Are those just some custom made white box servers that you put in a custom server rack chassis?

AWESOME! I miss my racks that I used to manage. I have rack envy now! lol Can I have your loud fans? I have a neat purpose for them if their really loud.

Why tp-link switch, why? They are not reliable, instead you could use a d-link one. Just a bit higher price but way much reliable.

Thats a 40u chassis- for a Minecraft Server, and a couple of 1u appliances?
