Unfortunately the Quicktime Player 7 option didn't work in my case. I am trying to recover a video that was recording when the computer lost power. When I try to open the file with Quicktime player 7, I just get an error that says it couldn't open the file because it is not a file that Quicktime understands. It is a .mov. file. Also tried the rename/vlc trick, no luck there. I guess it's professional tool time.

Is there a way to make the mov files lighter when I export? They seem to darken in colour for me compared to the other formats but I don't want to change formats because for me personally the quality is much higher and detailed in the mov files (I have tried them all and I can tell the difference in them). I am not using quicktime to play them though, can that make a difference for mov files? Thanks!

Buyers BEWARE! I bought the software, the preview works fine but in the end its ask me for payment after I saw the preview of my files, I paid them and now they didnt activate my software, no customer support anywhere, this is just a SCAM now. awful company!

My videos are always getting Advance Repair Error even If I choose a same device same format GOOD Video for reference. Using this software. Please Help Wondershare

None of these options worked for me. I spent about 4 hours trying and Wondershare could not repair even 1. The search continues...
