I remember when we only had Gnome or KDE desktops in Linux.. my first forays of experimenting with it.. was back in the day when it was early days of Linux.. when it as no longer Unix.
My personal use of Linux.. is to have a USB version that I can customise.. with having PERSISTENCE..16gb/32gb USB's.
Any info of..which way to getting the best form of persistence on a USB, is something That I would want to know of.. is their a right and wrong way to do it.. some are software/self.. and others need an amount set first.. 4gb space.. can be not enough.
Antix has it made to work, but looks complicated for the possible beginner.. and the added disadvantage of being over worked and .. ugly for a beginner.. that thinks a computer is a mobile phone..lmao.. smart phone my ass... just expensive to make people want to buy it.. the phone is smarter than them... shhh android is linux = soylent Green.
My main want.. of using a USB, is to use a laptop -without a HD- to run a CNC/3dprint/Laser.. as well with any USB as storage for Gcode files... more plug and play to that of any chip set.. or to have specific USB for those chip sets.. because of versions of Linux are seeming to be targeted at chip sets than for an open address.. Microsocks verses Badfruit.. intel verses AMD mentality.. leading the blind.

Hay man dont feel burnt out, your videos are fantastic. They are filled with tons of high quality information coupled with a decent sharp presentation.
It is teacher's like you who help newcomers to Linux learn a large variety of information of all the different linux distros, which gives them a brod understand of the array of possibilities possible with Linux.
Thnak you.

Never heard of 4MLinux before but found this video as always to be interesting and informative. You have great Linux skill and is interesting to watch you when it comes to the Terminal. You do good work on these videos, always explain things thoroughly; thank you for sharing with us and thank you to those that support you.

I looked at this distro a few years ago and found it interesting. Glad you decided to check it out, Derek. And I was wondering how long it would be before you got bored with all the similar distro reviews. :-) I bet there are a few more obscure ones to look at when you are in the mood.

4MLinux looks like Antix.. to me.. the real advantage they have, is that they are marked as -Live Medium-.. but.. to me it's if they stay alive.. without help of firstly configuring them to stay alive on a USB.

Thanks DT for reviewing this distro, and especially for the xrandr command which would be useful on other distros that I had problems getting guest additions to work.

13:25 Even with guest additions, vbox can act strange with X; sometimes is necessary to add --dpi to xrandr to make it behave:
xrandr -s WxH --dpi ActualPPI.

Considering Chromium is not a lightweight web browser, How come did Chromium browser open, at 23:09 when DistroTube clicks on the update button?
