I used to configure sudo really thoroughly at one point, I mean to set very complex rules for different tasks... But one thing that I've never gotten to work on several distros has been the 'default insults' - I have no idea why, but it refuses to insult me. Interestingly I tried it on my current Linux Mint (19.2 with XFCE) install and now it works! I'm pretty sure I couldn't get it to run on some older Ubuntu and/or Mint installs... Not sure about debian... but those were some time ago and this was the first time I tried it for couple years...
Good video, but you showed aafire demo for aalib and I waited so for you to show the colour equivalent, cacafire demo for cacalib - but you didn't and now I'm sad ;(
:D

I decided to give the new version on GNU / IceCat a fair try.
I doubt I would ever use that again based in this one experience.
The general public is never going to understand IceCat.
It would take lots of development to get IceCat to work without crashing ever 5 minutes.
And there are several stable web-browsers already out there.
I am a very busy person. I as are a whole lot of people I know that use computers.
We do not have time to troubleshoot ever tiny aspect of our lives. We are only here 80 years if we are lucky.
My personal info is already on geneology websites, and websites that sell your basic info for a one USD - $ 1.

11:39 put a clear after the sleep 1; and then it will work, take it a step further put this on your .bashrc or .zshrc or whatever shell rc you use I guess it would work
clock () -
clear
while true
do
echo -$(date '+%D %T' - toilet -f future -F border -F metal)-
sleep 1
clear
done
-
source it (source .zshrc) and then use it with clock and voila

I have an easy question for you all. I am about to purchase a new laptop - $ 1,500 USD. Do I first format the hard-drive, or do I remove it, and put in a larger blank one ?
Or do I try the Windows Subsystem for Linux ?
Or do I keep Windows 10 and dual-boot ?
Specs of the potential laptop are fancier than my current desktop.

So I gave up OSX, after 12 years with it, could not stand their unbearable fake political correctness any longer - and installed fedora on my mbp.
And now this:
-cowsay: Could not find sodomized cowfile!-
Which distro out there is not doing such things? Arch?

I have a word processor, address book, MP3 player & several old school 8bit games in my Terminal and I've only been using Linux for 2 weeks! It's a fun way to get over Terminal jitters. I have it set for classic terminal, green/black, looks great.

A few years back, a friend of mine put the -fortune - cowsay- comand in my bashrc.... I have kept it there eversince :D I have gotten used to being greeted by my sage cow buddy whenever I open a new terminal :D

gotop
nvtop (for NVIDIA users)
cava
glances
cool-retro-term
telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl (Star Wars -A New Hope- in terminal)

For those who don't know, the cowsay cowfiles are not the same on arch based distros and debian, for example the sodomized cow does not exist in the apt package

10:30 This gave me an idea. I sometimes don't see the menu bar at the top of either of my monitors. I could use a watch command to put the time on the screen.
