I am trying to test a simple Dos program. My Windows is Windows 10.
When I set up a disk drive from my local to be useable under the DOSBox, that works ok.
When I click on the program, I get an error message saying:
-This program cannot be run in Dos Mode-
I know the program is a Dos program and it runs on my other old laptop.
It looks like I must do something to activate the DOSBox. must I?
I looked in the DOSBox-0.74-3.conf file. somewhere in there there is a reference to Win32 ....
Any suggestions so I can get the program to run the old dos program are appreciated.

!! oops !! shame faced her. sorry - my bad! I had unzipped the .7zip file, but within that was yet a further zip file... LOL. I now have The ElderSrolls 1 Arena working on my Win10 64 bit PC.. just need to tweak things, maybe with Defender as a graphic overlay to allow shortcuts for each Dosgame :)

Glad to see someone else using TC. I have the source for an old DOS pgm for determining Theil Small parameters for any loudspeaker. Also have the test hardware that goes with this software. I've been running it on old DOS or XP computers/laptops. Would rather run it in Win10 so I don't have to keep all these old computers around. One note, my old computers run much faster than my Win10 64 machines. (Windows has way too much overhead)

Thank you so much for the video. Successfully added Dosbox. The DOS program I use has an instruction that uses keys CTRL F8, this seems to trigger an operation in Dosbox and displays -Frame skip at 1-. Is there a way to allow CTRL F8 to be used in my Dos program? Thanks

I'm trying to run a MS DOS game on my 64 bit laptop using DOSBox... in my game's directory, the EXE file is titled -AUTORUN- and I type in -AUTORUN- in DOSBox but a message comes up: -This program can not be run in DOS mode-. Any suggestions?

I can't get it to work at all on Windows 10 64 bit.
Only the DOSBox status window is opening, the main dosbox window isn't there. Please does anyone know how to get this working?

Im facing issue ...i have installed easily but when i run dosbox on desktop ...1 time screen blinks and then closes if is any solution let me know plzz-The Teacher

Complete presentation. Unfortunately its based on the completely worthless DosBox! Surely someone out there has a point and click install for dos games!?

I am facing problem with the caps lock key while running turbo c on dos box. It needs to be hit twice to turn it on or off. Is there any solution?
