How to Screenshot on Laptop or PC with Windows - Kevin Stratvert learn how to take a screenshot on Windows 11, whether you're using a desktop or laptop. We start by learning how to screenshot on PC by using keyboard shortcuts, like Print Screen, ALT + Print Screen, Windows + Print Screen, and more. Next, we look at how to add multiple screenshots to your clipboard, so you can choose which screenshot to paste. We follow this by looking at in built tools that let you screenshot on Windows, including the Snipping Tool, Microsoft Edge, and Office apps. We finish with the ultimate screen shot tool, ShareX, which is completely free to install. With ShareX, you can screenshot the full screen, a window, or just a region. You can also capture a scrolling screenshot or even an OCR screenshot. ShareX also offers powerful annotation tools. Shortcut Keys: - Print Screen: takes screenshot of the entire desktop, including multiple monitors - ALT + Print Screen: makes screenshot of the active window - Windows Logo Key + V: Paste multiple screenshots from clipboard history - Windows Logo Key + Print Screen: takes screenshot of entire desktop and automatically saves in Pictures, Screenshots - Windows Logo Key + ALT + Print Screen: takes a screenshot of the active window and automatically saves in OneDrive, Captures - Windows Logo Key + Shift + S: Launches the Snipping Tool - Additional resources - Ultimate screenshot tool, ShareX: https://getsharex.com/

Hi Kevin, I liked it very much and would rate better than Greenshot only cons that we can't send it directly to word or excel but that is quite manageable and also it has intelligence that reason of selecting any drawn object would be just to move bcz greenhsot was drawing object and to move any object we had to press esc key

LOL, I was scratching my head at the intro. I thought, are you kidding me? This is only the second video of yours that I've watched so maybe humor is common, idk. I just watched the one on how to turn on dark mode. So far I have learned a lot of very useful information, and the description section is fantastic.

Great video, but for someone like me who does not have the luxury of Windows 10, what can you suggest I do on Windows 7? To capture a screenshot, I use ArcSoft PhotoStudio. I am struggling here, any feedback you are willing to share, I would sure appreciate it! Thanks.

The way of Kevin is great! I also know another way to take screenshots, guys: Press Windows button + G, then many symbols appear and find out the symbol -Camera- and click on it to take a screenshot. The default folder is located in Videos/Captures.

Screenshot has always been a mystery. Click this, push that, then look all around the computer for where it is stored or if it is stored. Thank you. Kevin. Now I need to practice these skills.

7 March 2022 - Went to try changing shortcut key in Snipping Tool settings (WIN 10) but the pop up says Snipping Tool is moving -Try Snip N Sketch- so the above video is out of date already. ?

1:26 Kevin, u r saying the opposite, in laptops -usually- pressing Print Screen eky will only take screenshot. BUT in Desktops (separate keyboards) we need to press Fn key!
