How to Increase Hashrate on GTX 1060, 1080, 1080ti, etc! (Memory Tweak Guide for Ethereum Mining) - Sebs FinTech I show you exactly how to increase the hashrate on 1060, 1080 and 1080ti graphics cards for Ethereum mining. Consider it the ultimate memory tweak tutorial for these GPUs in T rex miner! And also know the process will most likely be very similar for other miners, or you could always use the Ethlargementpill, which basically does the same thing

I have a MSI GTX 1060 6gb oc armor. Im mining daggerhashimoto with excavator and get around 16 mh/s with no settings applied. When i increase my memory clock, my hashrate doesnt go up. I can change the memory clock up to +900 and no changes on the hashrate. No crasher either. The only thing that improves my hashrate from 16 mh/s to 18.5 mh/s is the core clock. If i have it on +150 i get 19.5 mh/s.
Ive tried to increase power limit, core voltage and so on. Idk what the problem is here, I would really like some help!! :D

GIdday Seb, firstly thanks for your videos. I'm learning so much, started GPU mining less than 2 weeks ago with the arrival of my new gaming PC. Now a question if i may - you specify Nvidia graphics cards with GDDR5 memory in the description, my 3080 Ti has GDDR6 memory - so is memory tweaking unnecessary for my card?

Correct me if I'm wrong please. I tried this with MSI Afterburner. And it doesn't work properly. I get +2Mh on my 1060 6gb with Afterburner so it makes possible to mine at 21.5 mh, but if I use memory tweak from 1 to 6 it doesn't matter it shows 20-20.5 mh everytime.
P. S. I have a laptop in this example

idk why but when im doing this (i got a GTX1080) my screen flickers and some green dots are on the screen and everything flickers. 1 second later my pc crashes and restarts automaticly. am i doing something wrong or is my GPU broke ? thanks for help in advance

A quick way past putting in the full path in a .bat or .cmd file is to use %dp0 (0 = zero) in front of the filename (e.g. %dp0t-rex.exe). It will expand to the drive letter and path of the .bat or .cmd file.

Dang man. Wished I watched this video before I did the absolute core clock tweaking. Took me some trouble shooting to figure out to run as administrator and to put the path the the miner.exe lol

10.5 seems to be my stock 1060 6gb which is crap on gminer. I tweaked my memory speed up by 400mhz and nothing changed except it got hotter, but the hash rate never changed.

Video worked for me! Got up to 32mhs with mt6 and 125 core 250 mem, 1080 founders edition. 64 power limit. Can i use mt and cclock in the same script?
reply

Use the tool Nvidia Inspector insted of after afterburner, set the command for pci order on the trex script, then itl match gpu order in nvi.

what exactly does the mem tweak do? I've been playing around with one of my 1080tis and it seems to change nothing in terms of hash rate.
