RTX 3070 LHR for Mining (Hashrate, Overclocks & Profit for Ethereum, Ravencoin, Flux, Firo & Ergo) - Sebs FinTech I do a full review of the RTX 3070 LHR for mining crypto. I test the GPU in terms of highest possible hashrate, best efficiency, profitability and overclock settings. I do all of these test for 6 different crypto coins: Ethereum, Ravencoin, Flux, Firo, Ergo & Ethereum Classic. The first test I do on each coin is to see what hashrate and efficiency (hashrate per watt) we get at completely stock settings. I the start power limiting the GPU in MSI Afterburner to see what the best efficiency we can get at stock clocks is. I then put the power limit of the graphics card back to 100% and start to overclock the GPU to see what the highest possible hashrate we can get on the RTX 3070 LHR is. I then start limiting the power again to see what the best hashrate per watt we can get while overclocked is. For the final test, I switch over to using absolute core clock to see if we can get even better results in terms of efficiency or hashrate on the 3070 LHR this way. Once I've done all those tests for all 6 coins, we have a look at the results in a spreadsheet to evaluate the performance of the 3070 for mining. Finally, we then plug all these numbers into WhatToMine to see the current mining profits for the RTX 3070 LHR

Very very strong GPU. Phantom -- the one you test is technically the Palit GameRock model, they come from same factory and even the serial numbers will differ only in the last few digits. Unbeateable cooling performance and super strong capacitors. Same heatsink as 3080s and almost same as 3090s, on double or even more less consumption that card will never have thermal issues.
However there is one BUT for them which is general for 3070LHR (I've tested the phantom, pheonix, gamingpro, GameRock...) , the current hashrates(reported on pool) once in a week or two will go extremely low and you have to reboot it. Personally I love Lolminer for the LHR cards, but I've tested with t-rex the same

I had 4x 3090 and 4x 3080. I sold them all to buy 3070s. The most efficient one is 3070 in any level. More cooler, more stable and possible more hasrate than 3090 for price ratio. You might get two 3070 instead of one 3090 and you will have more benefit for any coin. After all I feel like 3070 is for professional miner. 3090 is like for entry level learner. 3080 is great but also over heats during summer like 3090. 3090 and 3080 is just shorting their life time with their heating issues

47 Mh/s in the low 120s for wattage is good. I do love the 3070s as they stay very cool and dont use much wattage. The most I can get out of my 3070s is 44 Mh/s at 127w and temps of around 41-42C.
Honestly though based on the prices of these cards at scalpers prices of over $1000 USD. It cheaper to buy 2060 Supers that get 43 Mh/s at 87w on ETH. Of course once ETH does go 2.0, the 3070s will be better for mining RavenCoin

hello sebs, i wanted to ask you if you have tried any 3070 lhr Gigabyte. i am trying to set it un ethermine using trex. i cant get good results because of rejections.
if i try for example PowerLimit:50 Coreclock-502 MemClock:1600 i get aprox. 45mh E:350kh/w but i also get 10% regections. any suggestion would be helpfull. best regards!

I got 7 ASUS Gaming pc pre builds with non LHR RTX 3080, 1 Alienware pre build with NON LHR RTX 3080
And 1 Alienware Aurora R13 with RTX 3090 (personal rig, mining 18 hours a day)
Im a noob but doing this purely for business and profit
Currently using nice hash on all of them
Can I make more profit with something else?

How did you lock the core clock at 5:41? You cut away but didn't show how you did it. I have an EVGA 3070 8GB LHR with following setups in NHQM+Excavator. Thx!
Core Clock Delta = 200 MHz
Memory Clock Delta = 1400 MHz
Power Limit = 135W
Current Speed = 43.41 MH/s
Efficiency = 0.32 MH/J

How pathetic all of those Nvidias are, compared to 5700xt... no hashrate, no efficiency, I could run x2 5700xts getting 110mhs for same wattage. Why even buy those 3060-3080ti LHRs.. Nice video tho

Seb my man excel spreadsheet is pure awesomeness Many thanks for your work
I assume non LHR cards ( RTX 3060, 3060TI, 3070, 3080) have same hashrates as LHR on ERGO, RVN, FIRO, FLUX? Thanks

I have the 3070ti dual mining eth+alph
Eth 53-54mh/s
Alph 930-950mh/s
PL: 85 CC:+200 MC: +500
Closed case cabinet with temps core/mem 64/90.
I think this is pretty descent?
