Tbh the citizens of ''poor- countries know all this is bs that's why even the government's aren't putting enough effort to get the vaccines. i met with a citizen from a country deemed as ebola hotspot and he was there during the recent outbreak. He told me he never witnessed anyone who was infected and even people from the affected region never saw anything.

Patents are unethical. And in the case of vaccines, patents kill. No one with the willingness, ability, and resources should be prevented from producing vaccines or anything else merely because someone else had an idea and filed some paperwork. Moreover, copying is never wrong in and of itself.

bill gates plan actually makes the most sense though. nobody wants to work for free and you dont want idiots making random vaccines. its not going to be a fast or cheap process. it is what it is so just accept it. if you dont want the vaccine then dont get it
