How can your phone ever be private if it doesn't have hardware kill switches? (Video got cut off - another 3 minutes was excluded this link continues where it left off. Last 3 minutes) The Librem 5 has Hardware switches for the Wifi and baseband. Find out why this matters and how it compares to Androids and IOS phones

Actually I don't care if my smartphones are spyed on.
I never do anything private over my phone. No payment, no website actualization, no backup of important stuff. So if someone is spying on me playing doom mods and morrowind and talking with my wife how much I love her I absolutely don't care.
But I absolutely know what you mean and why that's important.
So if you do anything what could be used against you like paying stuff over PayPal or calling your weed dealer. You should absolutely stop doing that.

this got me thinking. Huawei gets banned due to spy fear from Chinas government, while Google and Apple already does, this and have been doing this for nearly 2 decades now. aint that funny? in theory, both Apple and Google can sell your information to abroad contries( wich they do to commercial reasons ) aint that the same as spying? Librem 5 seems like a good option to get those -filthy cash grab spying- companies out. good info Rob!

Don't think my life is that interesting that any individual or agency would care about my personal business.
Additionally I don't conduct any personal business over internet or store pictures or other information that could be accessed so there is little to find of any use to anyone.

I usually use the smartphone as a tablet and not as a phone. I don't even carry a smartphone with me all the time.
I use an iHunt i4 mobile phone as a phone.
And that one has a removable battery.
I also have a laptop that has a wi-fi switch.

Rob let me get this straight. first you say that a phone (degoogled or not) offers no privacy and can track you regardless. on the other hand you sell degoogled phones which you claim are shielding us from prying eyes. I don't get it.

Seems like you weren't quite done yet, video stopped for me at 14: 39 when you were showing pics of how Librem5 phone had separate areas for WiFi, Cell carrier, etc.
Was that my connection?

They can never be secure because telecommunication technology is terrible and proprietary. They'll never change that, hence why hardware ks are necessary to pressure them
