Let me add another point here for those who think I'm having an immature tantrum. Maybe you're missing the point. COVID will NEVER DISAPPEAR. This is going to be a permanent fact of life. Thus, if you think that wearing masks and and checking ID's is OK now, then this will be permanent. Just like the Patriot act is now permanent spying of all citizens. These new rules impact those who conform to the rules, the most. Rules are made more stringent even though there is no justification for it in numbers. Cases are going down, yet it is more stringent. This lack of balance is an indicator of a bigger problem, where we are all being trained in compliance. If you're vaccinated, the effect of this is likely no more than the flu problem every year. Yet with 1000% more stringent application of rules. Yes, you will be threatened that 50 more variants will come next year. But you will be surprised when you find out, that THIS WILL NEVER END. So it's your choice to change society to go one way or the other. This virus will be here no matter what. Public Health will be the new excuse for spying in the next 50 years.

Reality is all based on probability. If the vaccination is not 100% effective then that means it isn't 100% effective! It is 94% effective FOR THE FIRST STRAIN but for the delta variant it is 64% effective. Thereforthere is still a greater than >35% chance of transmission. Does that make any sense? There are no -mixed signals- there. What are you aspergers and can't understand ambiguity, is everything black or white? No ZERO things are black or white. We do not live in a binary reality, we don't even live in a base 10 reality.

I think it is not your buissness to get vaccinated or not if hospitals are failing and people are dying because of not enough people beeing vaccinated.
Thats why I think that checks like this are necessary.
Even a Vaccination Mandate is justifiable if it is necessary to prevent people form dieing.
I understand that a lot of people have fears regarding the vaccine, but it has been tested as every other and is perfectly save.
Read the studies to see how the vaccines where tested and how the data was colected.
And if you cant trust the all of those independent scientists, I dont know how what will.
If there where poison or something dangerous in the vaccines, woulnd some of the already vaccinated people die or be sick?

Sorry Rob, but your medical pre-assumptions are grossly inaccurate, or simply in error. It's not all about you. It is equally about those who are not vaccinated. I have listened to medical personnel also state that carding is a violation of freedom? I'll say we are already loaded to the gill with 'Free-Dumb. ' This has never has been a political issue. Some individuals appear to deliberately make a non related stretch go give an illusion that their thinking is sound. When you maliciously expose others with the possibility of a deadly outcome, this is 'FREE-DUMB' not to be confused with a proven concept of freedom. Talk with an expert in the field if you aren't sure of right from wrong.

The measures that are put in place are not to increase your safety. They are for preventing the spread of the virus. It is unfortunate that technology has been involved that is inherently not secure and which can effectively be used for spying. I have no problem with showing a vaccination certificate and ID to get into a restaurant. This is the same as the requirement for showing ID to purchase alcohol or to have a license to drive a car. Yes, there are already laws that require you fulfill certain requirements before participating in society. Nobody seems to have a problem with those.

Well, I agree with your pivacy concerns, I see the vaccine as something totally different. I would still have 20 friends living, if the vaccine came out a few weeks before it did I'd still have 20 living friends. As for the vaccine and masks they are not foolproof, they are measures to help slow down and control this virus. I think this is a matter of public safety, and because people didn't get vaccinated, we are going to have this virus forever. We had our change at trying to to slow it down.

looks like iOS is already working with 8 states to transfer all power to Apple and store ID's, drivers license and vax info. this is a new tax that will be paid by the tax payers to Apple? privacy is no longer private with corporations taking over and tracking, storing, aggregating, sharing between private-corporate-government. it should never be required in order to eat, drive, shop etc. crazy times for sure. thanks for your input on the privacy aspect.

Ugh you are NOT immune if you get the illness. Antibodies last only 80 days max according to studies. Vaccinations do not GIVE you antibodies, they prepare your body, like a probiotic prepares your gut, for an invasion from the COVID19 like virus. People with the vaccinations can STILL get infected, however, it is a far higher probability it won't make them severely ill and KILL them.

I could only see it as a liability protection for the business owner if the business did it on its own without government regulation telling them too. I could see someone going into a business and getting COVID and would have a shot at suing a business for not having this in place. It-s really just liability stuff at this point, nothing to do with actual public health issues.
