Game is not ready. No matter what graphics settings i toggle to balance fps and visuals, it still looks bad. Sucks, the game is cool, but the performance is crap and it looks like crap. Running this on a gtx 2080 ti, i 7 8800k, NVME SSD, 32gb of ram, clean install of windows with latest updates, and latest gpu drive. Tested it on a 2k 144 hz Samsung C32hg70 and Samsung qled 4k monitor. Same crap washed out look. Game is not worth 60 dollars and maybe worth 30 dollars if they can fix it.

why tf do i get 90-100 fps avg with a 2080 non-TI and a 9700k, with all settings maxed out, DLSS and RT ON? -
I don't get it. even if I had overclocked both the cpu to 5. 1Ghz and the GPU to +100Mhz on core, these results aren't even matching the results from the 2080 TI, and not even those from older games I run with this setup, this is way better. -
Any thoughts?

You would see a noticable difference if the devs wanted the normal reflections and other effects to be lesser just to make the rtx pop. That's why you don't see much of a difference in metro where GI is well implemented. Speaking of reflections, checkout how the normal reflections are in mirrors edge catalyst and star wars battlefront 2.

I just built my first pc. I9 9900k 2070 and 16 gigs of ram. And a nvme ssd. Need to get more storage. But since the game is on the great storage Iv been running this game great. Just saying because they wondered about the lower cards. RTX on max and most other things on high. A couple things like shadows on medium.

WOOT! You can game at 720p at 60Hz with an RTX 2080 Ti. And one of the reviewers has this video card at home and a 1080p monitor - or TV at 60Hz evidently with HDMI. GET A REAL MONITOR! If you can afford a $1200 video card you can afford a real monitor. This -review- is an epic fail.

I run Control on an RX580 and seeing it now with RTX gives me the sads: (
When I got it I just thought -OK so it's not quite a AAA game and the devs decided to concentrate on the story and design instead of the super pretty stuff. Fair enough, content over looks is the right choice. -

I'm playing it with a RTX 2080 Ti, all settings maxed at 4k with full Ray Tracing and DLSS (which actually renders at 2k and upscales to 4k) and the performance is very good. Turning off DLSS makes it unplayable though. Even with DLSS the game looks amazing though.

So he is running 2080ti at 1080p and getting 60FPS, and that's what Nvidia wants or PC World think it is good? Get the f. out. Dear PC World, how about you do not mislead people and stop representing Nvidia crap? $1200 card with 1080p Monitor 60Hz hahaha

Running this on a 2070 Super with all RTX on at 3440x1440 from a SDD. Works perfectly fine and fps at 50-60. Really impressed so far. Havent tried to run it with OC GPU yet. (My panel is only 60Hz, so it-s fine)
