Playing on a 2080Ti - 1890/7200 at 1080p everything maxed including RTX, same performance as here, at 1440P it drops in FPS, but not by much. Solid 50- at 1440p on my other card, a eVGA 2080XCU non super at 1995/7500. With everything maxed, I play ay 1440P, with the FPS counter off, its buttery smooth on both cards. 32gb ddr4 3200 and a R7 3700x on my 2080 TI, I5 9400f and 16gb dddr4 3000 on my 2080 non Super. Amazing game! Its 2077 I am worried about with large crowds.

See now I just played this thanks to you guys. I have an 8700k at 5Ghz and a 2080ti. I played at 3440x1440 100Hz, and with DLSS on I got around 70-80fps it was great completely maxed, especially with Gsync. Without DLSS it was around 50-60fps. So while definitely graphically intensive, with DLSS on you can have a great time. The game was amazing btw can't praise it enough. Can't wait for it to come to Steam. Also great ultrawide support.

I played a few hours in dx11 and a few hours in dx12 w/ RTX. RTX is nice but not worth the 20-30+ fps hit IMO. when we can reliably play these games with RTX on, at around the 90-100fps mark on a $400-500 GPU will it be mainstream. these are EARLY days for RTX. I don't enjoy having to run the game at 960 or 720p DLSS to just get playable frames (btw, DLSS looks bad. Who buys a $600-700+ gpu to play at 60frames? really?

Those reflections look incredible, no doubt ray tracing will be the norm in GPUs eventually. But right now the hit to FPS is just massive, and if you need a $1200 GPU to play at 1080p with everything maxed out, it will take at least a couple of generations until it reaches the mainstream at an acceptable performance.

Can play at 1440p dlss with mix of medium and high settings and medium rays. Anything abouve that i just crash. On a 2080 super. All ray tracing effects on i have no chance of it playing at all even at 1080p itl just crash. Best sticking to medium rays on this game

Just picked up Control this morning. It looks absolutely gorgeous and runs at 55-60 fps at 1080p on a ryzen 5 2600 4. 1 oc, 32 GB ram, and an aorus 2080 extreme with all ray tracing enabled. Updating windows drivers to 1903 now to see if any performance Is gained.

Ray Tracing is the bottle neck so turning down traditional settings with rtx on doesn't help. It's been tested before that's why power usage doesn't increase with rtx on because the traditional shaders are outputting less frames to match the -rt cores-

i have everything maxed out on my setup. it looks like there is a heavy film grain filter on the game, you can really notice it on her neck shadows. idk if this is a glitch or just part of the game, so far im not impressed

hey adam how comfortable is that secretlabs omega chair? im in need of a new chair and was looking at getting that specific one with the softweave fabric instead of the leather

At last a game that I can look forward to run faster when later GPU models come out. Currently running a rx 470 and the global reflections is very taxing on the card.
