AMD's new Zen 3 wins it all: Multi-core, single-core and gaming too. Gordan takes Adam through all the benchmarks that shows just how brutal AMD beats Intel. 00: 00 - Architecture changes 04: 29 - Testing parameters 08: 49 - Multi-threaded benchmarks 13: 57 - Single core benchmarks 17: 15 - Content creation benchmarks 23: 53 - Compression benchmarks 29: 40 - Gaming benchmarks 38: 57 - Ryzen historical performance 46-42 - Bucks per thread chart 49: 50 - Should we wait for AM5? 51: 28 - Should anyone buy Intel?

Can someone explain how the 10900k basically matches the new zen 3 cpus in gaming. I keep hearing latency matters, but what latency matters? What benchmark/ latency spec do I need to look at to know which cpu has better latency. Is it just software optimization for intel is better? I'm confused because the 10900k basically matches the new zen 3 cpus in gaming but is significantly slower in single threaded benchmarks, soo that's not the whole story clearly. How is intel so good at gaming when the benchmarks look so bad for intel. People keep saying it's all about single threaded performance, but that doesn't explain how the 10900k matches the zen 3 cpus with much lower single threaded scores. thanks!

and SAM will add another 2 - 6 % Performance with a Radeon 6000 GPU = AMD has the Gaming Performance crown now, not with RT but wait 6 months, maybe AMD will have a DLSS like Feature for the 6000 cards as well, maybe not looking as good as DLSS 2. 0, but with higher RT Performance. We have to wait. NVs RT Performance in the RTX2000 Drivers was not that great in the first Drivers, they deactivated the Tensor Cores because they had Problems, later Drivers fixed that Problem and the Performance gone up. At that point werent many Games with RT so it was not mentioned that much.

Intel used to an innovative company. Like Sears, Kodak, Blockbuster, American Motors, and AOL, they failed to maintain an aggressive development and growth strategy. What's different with Intel is they are still here and can turn things around. It is unclear if they are well positioned to execute the needed turnaround. AMD, for all their growth and development issues over the years, they remained hungry and aggressive. They have found themselves living in Intel's house and running the show. Currently Intel is repackaging the same old thing and calling it new.

I bought ryzen 9 5900x and when I open premiere pro and render some of my old project the CPU usage was too low about 20 % and take about 20 minutes my old CPU i7-8700k render the same project in 10 minutes and use more gpu power than ryzen why is that
is there any specific setting for ryzen or I choose the wrong CPU and should I sell my CPU and have intel again

Red Dead Redemption. something is wrong. The 3900x was beating intel. Also, every other reviewer had Intel on top of even the 59xxX. This result probably should have been left off until the issue was identified. Something is not right: )

The price for performance actually ends up being better than zen 2 was at launch despite the $50 increase amazingly. It does speak to the massive improvements they-ve implemented in this generation vs the last gen.

Finally a very good discussion. And that's why it was so with ZEN2 because you can use the same MOBO with PCI-E 4. 0 support. Yes, now it is not to much supported but times will change.

Nothing matters if we can't buy this CPU's anywhere. But hey the new Samsung SSD with 7GByte/sec are also out of sales and the new GPUs. and none wont come back to the shelf before christmas.

I'll admit, I haven't used an Intel Chip forever. AMD was always -good enough-. To see them on top for the first time since about 2006 is awesome.

17: 45 dud use ffmpeg it's way updated and optimized to all CPU, you even better compile it to all these different CPU's to get better results.
