Our display (which is a TV or comes from it) uses interlaced signals. So, the signals passed to it have to be interlaced. The signals that you send to your display, either have to be progressive or interlaced. We have all of the patents necessary for making interlaced TVs and passing interlaced signals to them. This isn't something that we're doing randomly.

I have hard time believing this.
Every time i i use interlacing it looks bad and blurry and in this video it look sharper than already oversharpened FSR? also interlacing have a bad effect on hair which is not shown here.

54 fps in native 4K is fine with single player games. People are getting so caught up in the hype they're willing to use lower quality rendering for more frames that won't make a lick of difference for Single Player games. -

I have switched to interlaced over fsr at 1080p on an RTX 2070 max-q as it just looks better to my eye and allows me to enable the highest settings with Ray tracing and even up the reso scaling giving even more gains: )

While we do have an active sponsorship campaign with AMD right now around Radeon Boost and FSR, this video is not part of it and not sponsored.
