I dropped $1700 on this after a bunch of discounts. 100% worth it. Bro this thing doesn-t even compare to any other laptops at my school/in general. Good review - thank you! I have a couple of questions: 1. Are the video output ports hardwired to the Nvidia GPU? 2. Does it come with Nvidia's Runtime D3 (RTD3 - where the GPU can turn itself off when it's not in use? I'm planning on buying one of these to use as a Linux workstation.

I prefer big and chonky laptops. I have a thin and light right now, and when I'm gaming on it, the fans damn near sound like a dentist drill.

I have a T470. This P15 looks like a monster and I'm sure it will handle 100% cpu load for days on end as long as it is plugged in
