I-ve noticed something similar to 45: 05 in my Tigerlake + Linux system, but in a different situation: when I-m doing some high intensity single thread workload like the LTO phase of clang, the cpu will put some of its cores at 400 MHz (I-ve even seen them at 380-90ish MHz) so that the active core can boost longer!

Good Alder Lake report in AnandTech by the way today Dr, Ian but censor me again or delete my public participation as u see I can see the order can shut u down. This doe not mean editing I am referring to censorship on Tech Tach and Full Nerd. mb

I have a 3600 and i game at UW i do not think i need a new cpu although alder lake looks good but im not willing to shell out for ddr5 and those mobos are expensive and also win 11 not ready for it.
Nice Show Gordon, Ian, Adam

As a person still playing old games where single thread perf is very important (and in some cases the only thing that matters, as in 1080p vs 8k gives me the same fps, I'm still checking all the cpu reviews for gaming.

these are the guys that stated in their 12600K review that the 12900K consumers the same amount of power or sometimes less that the 5950X when its a freaking lie. you cannot leave a comment on the review so yeah. GG

Gordon and Dr. Ian good on analysis but as discriminatory as any consumer discriminatory price fix the other edit out it was wccftech editor choice awards today, day one. .. mb

PC WORLD DO this benchmark work ur self I can show u how. Forget about being a repeater for others because that is not at the core what PCW was all about and is about? mb
reply

Intel had to release Alder Lake with DDR4 support. The new platform is so expensive that most people wouldn't jump on so early if they would also have to buy new RAM.

And Dr Ian edit my work for acceptance in ur order is a nice gesture but do it again will come after u on censorship in the order. Good gesture but FU. mb
