Another great MAGIC align tool:
- take the Ruler tool (I)
- make a line in reference
- select your layer
- go to Edit, Transform, Rotate
And the MAGIC will done his job! ;-)
If it's the whole image:
- take the Ruler tool (I)
- make a line in reference (horizon)
- go to Image, Image Rotation, Arbitrary.
- the exact Angle will appear with 2 decimal!
Another MAGIC is done! ;-)

For those who have the reference point missing by default:
Edit > Preferences > Tools > Enable Reference point when using Transform
Also, if the grids did not appear for you after enabling it in preferences, the shortcut Umesh tells later in the video makes it appear. The shortcut is Control/Command + '.

Thank you Umesh for your videos, each of them adds something to my knowledge. Regarding this reference point, I'm not able to see any where on my screen while transforming Image. I'm using CC 2019 version. Can you suggest how to get this reference point please.

I just want to thank you for devotion and efforts you put into your tutorials.
I've put my design career on hold for the last couple of years and you have made it inspirational for myself to get back into the flow!
Great Job!
MUCH APPRECIATION!

Coming from After Effects, this only seems like a natural thing to do for me. The only bit confusing for me is that it isnt called an anchor point but an reference point. Great tutorial!

I can't believe I just learned after many many years that you can use the pen tool to align text that way! All those hours I wasted aligning visually by trial and error. smdh

Thanks. Unmesh.
Brilliant Explanation.
But, Please illustrate the concept of using whole Transformation (like Perspective, Distort, Skew etc.

Hi Unmesh, really brilliant and wonderful tutorial. Do you know if it is possible to snap the reference point to the guides?

Did you know, that you can simply ALT/OPTION-click at the spot, where you want to place the reference point? ;)
