My themes are not exactly the same as the 3 demo'd here: default, light, dark. The area that is not the same is where the + symbol is to add/start a new tab. Just like the demo the + symbol is in white lettering; however, the background color surrounding it is kind of translucent & it allows you to see behind this firefox window. If your firefox window is right on top of almost anything white (e.g word, excel, a browser page, etc.) that white + symbol fades into the white and you don't see it anymore. This is not what is shown on the demos. As a matter of fact, anything to the right of a tab is translucent so you can see the things behind the FF browser. That's real smart! Better make the + black, but if you have a dark background that's going to fade out too. Also, if you fill up your browser with tabs, then the white color > &

+TechGumbo Your videos are ALWAYS clear, precise, concise, informative and very focused into the ins and outs of every subject you're touching. This one is no exception. Well done, TechGumbo! Now, please, just do a much needed complement to most users who left FF quite a while ago: a Back-to-FF Tutorial. First showing how to get your rehashed & now improved FF back to life (or maybe waiting until all your most cherished add-ons are made available to use on Quantum); and, second, how to transfer all your old stuff from Chrome to FF, while making your old Settings & recent stuff working fine into its new premises. It's not a coincidence that's quite like a new house: all of our virtual lives we do LIVE on browsers! I'm waiting for your input! Cheers!

I tried to use it while a moment, but it's still too slow compared to Chrome. Of course we perfectly know that some Google technologies are customized for Google product (like Chrome), but I'll personally always favor the confort of use instead of ideological and not efficient enough projects. The only solution for Firefox is to develop its own technologies with the help of alternative solutions like (PeerTube, OpenStreetMan and more) and make them as popular as possible ; I don't see other ways to proceed :/

It's a trojan horse. Delivers user information to tons of advertisers. It's less secure, not more. Mozilla jumped the shark. Look at the stats of uninstalls and the usage of Google vs Firefox. It went down even further. As well, the directories of stored information is protected from the user emptying it. Do a before and after comparo between an earlier version and Quantum using something CCleaner, or BleachBit, you'll see it for yourself. Now, Firefox is just like the rest. Too bad, so sad.

Each time they update FF they just make it worse. I hate chrome, and FF is becoming a lot like it. You can't customize things the way you use to. I absolutely hate the three dots ---- Page actions , but I can't get rid of it. Most of what you showed is easy enough, but vastly inferior to how one use to be able to make changes to this browser. Your vid was fine, the browser sucks.

Firefox overrode my update only with permission, completely F'd my system, runs slower than I.E. ver3 and somehow there are no window recovery roll back dates prior to November 18th, the day firefox raped my computer and infected it with it's sh1t code. Now I have no choice but to use chrome to get anything done. Thanks Mozilla!

Thanks for making this! I used to use brave browse but brave got slow so I switched to quantum. Also, for your free software that are actually great series could you include ShareX pls? It's basically gyazo or light shot but 10x better and way more customizable.

Thank you for this video. This video really helped me a lot in learning the new features of Firefox. I just installed this browser and I gotta say that this browser is faster than Chrome for me, escpecially on my old Celeron Laptop, so thank you Mozilla!

The more Firefox add-ons you install the more Memory you use. I tested this by temporarily disabling Firefox add-ons and my Memory usage in Task Manager decreased. If you do not have much Memory, this is something to consider...

Quantum is terrible, it messes up and jams together all text on webpages. The great new features are fine if you are a tinkerer otherwise a waste of time. I went back to 56 after less that one day.
