TechGumbo, which version of the Xiaomi Mi Box are you reviewing here? It must be the Mi Box 4(K), because I don't believe the third version of the Mi Box can stream 4K. But the connections visible in your video shows a Micro SD slot and an extra USB (OTG?) port which I can't find anywhere at the merchants selling the Mi Box 4K. Can you explain to me how this is possible? Or do you have another version by any chance? Thank you in advance!

I'm looking for a box to stream 4k content from my PC to my tv. MXQ pro appears to be able to handle it, given the codecs it supports(pretty much every one). I have been using an old sony streaming box for years now but it won't handle 4k streaming. Any comments much appreciated. Suggestions? Anyone who has actually used streaming pc to tv in 4k WITH hdr? Thanks

+TechGumbo None of your videos showed the Himedia Q10 Pro I think it runs in 4k but don't quote me on that and is in deed from what I've heard one of the best streaming deices out there currently available to buy but I wonder how it would compare to Roku. Can you make a video on that please?

I have trouble when playing mkv movies on the Shield via usb hdd, it lags, stop playing, no audio. Really annoying when my tv plays them with no issues if i connect the hdd to it. But then i dont get any hd sound via my reciever and just a simple UI.

You cannot beat the shield. If you can pick one up second hand then it blows everything out of the water. The fact that you have games and additional content means you can do a lot more.
