Hi Tech Gumbo! Very informative video! Thanks! Im a musician and I wonder if you know of a good free or pay for software that I can use to play and manage my mp4 or mp3 files? I need to have the files in a playlist and library and be able to have and see titles of stored playlists. But a unique feature it has to have the ability to change the selected mp4 or mp3 files pitch or key in real time. Sort of like Winamp while using the DSL plug in Pacemaker both older but very competent utilities. I used to use Itunes but they have no plug ins for pitch changing. There are some free and paid karaoke players that work but all not without a bug or two. Can you research this when you have time? I know there are alot of folks like me that can use help on this. When I do any searches I see posts all the way back to 2004 or so asking this same question. Thanks for your help! Barry in N.Y.

let me see, off the top of my head CCleaner, Firefox, Pale Moon browser, Chromium browser, LibreOffice, CPU-Z, GPU-Z, Sumatra PDF viewer, AIMP audio player, Audacious, Songbird, Marble virtual globe, Stellarium, FotoSketcher, Gimp, Inkscape, LibreCAD, XnView, FileZilla, Mozilla Thunderbird, Pidgin, InfraRecorder for burning disks, WaveShop, Audacity, Evince for PDFs, CrystalDiskInfo, Speccy, Recuva, Deluge & qBittorrent, TeamViewer, there is rarely ever a need to buy software. I actually made the switch to Linux nearly a decade ago, currently using Linux Mint with MATE desktop.

My subscription tu TuneUp just ended last month, and I was not sure if I wanted to renew it. Glarly Utilities has everything that I needed from Tune Up. As always, thank you very much. If you're interested, I've found a good replacement for a certain function of Fences. Sometimes, when I play old games or connect a screen to my computer, the resolution changes, and all the desktop icons end up being a complete mess. I used Fences to save and restore the snapshot of my desktop. I've found DesktopOk, that is a portable software that does that same function.

TECHGUMBO I am disappointed that I hadn't discovered you sooner, of course, I blame that on you haha. Gosh if only I knew about unchecky two months ago I wouldn't have the incredible angry frustration over unintentionally installing hidden adware VIDSQUARE and REIMAGE , anyone having to deal with these 2 particularly intrusive programs will understand. I managed to get a laugh out of you last time TG but this time, just thank you for creating this savvier more knowledgeable computer user.

MPC-HC is now a dead project unless C/C++ savvy developers contribute to the project. Greenshot alternative Screenpresso is my tool of choice and a lifetime Pro upgrade is an insanely good deal. I was turned on to an IT Infrastructure Management and Security platform that is blowing me away with all of the features and tools they offer for free - Comodo One

Is there a way where I can actually set a command for Greenshot where it will just rename the next screenshot with a different name, because one day I clicked on one of those first two options that Grnsht gives you and it overwrote the last screenshot I captured :/ dissapointed me a little. plzzz help to add a suffix prefix or whatever.

Greenshot is a great way to annotate YT video tutorials I want to try. There are recipe videos w/ the recipe in the comments area, but YT doesn't allow me to make notes to use a different spice or try a different ingredient when I save the video in a personal playlist. Is there a program that does that? Thanks for sharing!

Hi. I'd like to thank you again for another great video. I would also like to recommend software that as far as I can remember you have not mentioned. I'm talking about FaastStone . This is a very good' clean and fast picture browser. The company also has a screenshot software. I use it all the time. Thanks again, Zvi.

Greenshot may be versatile but, try and uninstall it (using a variety of programmes, IObit, Privazer, Ccleaner, Wise) and it is impossible.....There remain files in C:/Program Files that stubbornly refuse to budge......I prefer Lightshot screengrab. It is simple and so much easier to use.

Ok I like Mono snap for taking screenshots. Picassa 3 for photos, even though its not supported anymore, its a fantastic photo manager Pushbullet, and Mightytext for sending links, texts, photos, and more between your PC and Android phone, and also using your phone from your PC
