Football (soccer) is not called football because it played with you foot.
Its name is derived from the fact that it is played on foot not horse back.
And the reason it is called soccer is because the word is derived from association football as there was also rugby football.
Football has been around for thousands of years and there is many variations and american football is derived from rugby football.
So it not the Americans that are funny it people who lack history.

-igi385 Jeff's answer might be different from mine but, i would suggest doing big lifts or compound exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench press etc. Followed by either hypertrophy training or strength and conditioning circuit in which you have to do it explosively. Followed by core work. Thats what i've been doing and it has produced good results. (plus I'm an endomorph so) Hope this helped.

Hey Jeff, thanks for this video. I'm a new fan (I'm in San Diego) and I gotta thank you for the structured workouts and all the detail in your AthleanX product. (Just bought it last week. You've given me some much-needed structure and I have rediscovered working out with strength training. I know this sounds all rah-rah and fake, but it's genuine. Thanks again.

-PaddyMichael90 There is a LOT of misinformation out there about EPA and DHA. Those are DERIVATIVE forms of Omega 3 --- you want to take the PARENT form of those Omega oils so that your body can make the EPA and DHA on its own from the parent oils. There is a guy named Brian Peskin who educated me on this. You can find him if you search.

-NovakGoran I can't speak on behalf of the Yanks, but it's called Soccer in Australia as football also means - Rugby League, Rugby Union, AFL and of course Soccer. so we call it Soccer so people actually know what sport you're referring to!

-kroonaf I doubt it, although undoubtedly there will be players which have done / do roids. But like almost all pro athletes they undergo strict tests for all sorts of performance enhancers.

Great Video! Hey, Jeff could you do a vid on exercises that strengthen the lower back. especially for people like me who have had trouble in that area.
