X- - I see guys hit the gym every single day in an attempt to build muscle and often times make the same mistake over and over again. Not only do they stick to the same exercises all the time but more importantly they perform them in the same way at every workout. This is the fastest way to not build muscle! In order to build muscle fast you need to keep your workouts full of variety at every opportunity. No, not just with the number of different exercises that you do but also the way in which you do them. Let's face it, you CAN build muscle when you're doing max sets of bench press but doing that over and over might not only lead to overtraining but also a halt in the progress you see and the muscle gains you get from month to month. In this video I'm trying to underscore that even with the same exercise you can apply so many different training techniques to the exercise that you get a much different training effect (and effect on your muscle size because of it. When you want to get the most out of your workouts then I highly suggest you put as many different techniques into your workout program to avoid staleness and keep those muscle building gains coming. If you want a complete step by step workout program for helping you to build new muscle fast then I suggest you head to to

jeff can you make a video based on how all celebrity's have got ripped and sort of things they do. ive been looking in to Scott Adkins aka Yuri Boyka from undisputed 1&2 & is in X-men as well as is going to be in The Expendables 2! he has not only got a completely jacked physique, but he is able to do flips, backflips, capoeira, martial arts etc etc. he isnt the only person who can do it of course but it would be nice to see your thoughts on this as id loved to look like him and do what he does!

Chest: (Incline) bench press 3x6-10. Dumbell Press 4x8-12. Dumbell flies 4x10-12. Push-ups - till failure.
Tricep: (Seated) Dips 3x till failure. Tricep EZ extensions 4x8-12. Cable extensions with palms facing you 4x8-12. Triangle push-ups till failure. Your should fell a slight pain in your chest and tricep when doing the Triangles in the end. If not you need to add more weight for the next time you do the routine.

the elongation or the eccentric phase of the movement is where the microtrauma or tears you describe occur, whilst principally responsible for hypertrophy or growth. The concentric phase or positive is responsible for strength increases, however im sure there is still growth in size from the positive phase and there is 100% guarenteed strength benefits to the positive phase as noted with many strongman, hope this helps

hey Jeff, I am a big fan of what you do and try to train and help people better themselves just like you. I wanted to ask you if you can do 1 handed push ups and would you be willing to tell me what i should to to be able to do it? I tried tightening my core and making my arms really strong but still no luck.

Jeff what's your opinion on people like Hershal Walker who does something like a 1000 pushups a day, and at one time Ray Lewis only did a pushup routine daily. are they just freaks of nature or what. just curious on your thoughts, because how is someone like Hershal Walker not overtraining?

I'm in the middle of AX-1, and I wanted to know if I can combine the Wolverine Workout with it. By doing one in the morning and the other in the afternoon or evening, I'm trying to put on mass to move up in weight class for MMA, or should I stick to one? And which one would be better?

What do u guys recommend ax1 or ax2? I'm for gaining muscle because I'm not really fat but it said on the website that the ax2 is extreme so I'm kinda worried I might overtrain and not make gains. And I'm only 15 I don't want to overtraining my body to. Thanks

Jeff, thanks for the vids! Thank you for the time you spend on making these and sharing them. I have been following you for over a year now, and am now a proud member of team Athlean. You're the best! Keep up the good work! This is life changing shit here!

personally tmmrw i'm gonna do back and bis, so i'll do 4 sets of deadlifts, 4 sets of chin ups, 4 sets of bent over rows, 4 sets of barbell rows, then for biceps just like DB curls for 3 sets and preacher curls for 3 sets, rep range from 10 to 12

Athleanx app would be very popular.
Question: how can I increase my stamina during strength workouts. I get tired very easily during work outa but I know I haven't come to my breaking point yet. My stamina fails me before my muscle can fail.
