I've skipped breakfast since I was 15 and I'm not stopping. I'm mainly looking for a way to balance my diet around this fact. I have very low physical activity, I sometimes also skip lunch and usually eat a lot between 6 and 20 pm. Any advice? About this video, I was really surprised. First time watcher and I really thought I was going to be served some voodoo magic again but this is well researched and very well explained. I like that you nuance everything but still give guidelines for each individual to tailor eating habits. And most importantly provide recent, serious scientific justifications to what you're saying which is what 99. 99% of coaches lack. And I also love that the first half is not focused on muscle gain. Great great content thanks.

The idea of eating food and alot of food at breakfast was presented long before the article by the Jewish philosopher and doctor Moses ben maimon aka The Rambam he died at the year 1204 and he said this, which is translated to In the morning you will eat like a king, at noon like a king's son and in the evening like a poor man just wanted to point this fact out he wrote many guidelines how to live healthy and for longevity according to his philosophy just wanted to point this fact out. Awesome videoAnother cool thing he wrote was this which is translated to As long as a person exercises and moves a lot not many illness will come to him and his strength will increase

i used to eat breakfast IMMEDIATELY upon waking. so if i woke up at 4: 45a for work, i'd be eating by 5am. Now I wait until around 9: 00am and just pull my meal out in class. it's a happy medium bc I can't eat much later than that. but it did take me time to adapt to this. I will eat before 9: 00 if I go to the gym before class, so I will eat around 8am. Those workouts are fasted and I do feel like I have less energy, and compound movements are always harder, but the lack of caffeine and the early waking impact that, not just the food. Thanks so much for all these videos

I am doing keto, intermittent fasting daily and also I am on a calorie deficit, 1500 calories a day. My main goal is weight loss as I am overweight, but I am still lifting weights and doing hill sprints to maintain and hopefully build muscle (I have definitely noticed more muscle in legs, shoulders and back, arms are slightly bigger, chest firmer but not bigger. I have lost 30 pounds in 2 months, even though I still go for beers on the weekend and have a cheat day once a week also. So, I'm very happy with the results

Youre gonna need to revise this. You didnt even talk about fasting and its effects on your hormones when done with a good diet. Or your bodys abilitiy to absorb more nutrients per meal when eating less frequently. Biggest factor for me though is training with food in my stomach feels like my digestion is sappinn energy from my workout. Also, during intense exercises with food in my belly, i get nauseous and almost want to puke whereas on am empty stomach i feel like i can orient all my energy towards lifting

For me, skipping breakfast is more of a convenience thing. I train kick boxing in the morning and go to they gym in the afternoon. I am a night person, so I wake up less than an hour before training in the morning. So, instead of training with a full stomach, which would make me throw up, I find it better to skip breakfast and have lunch after training. I have been doing this for a very short time, so I might end up having to quit this routine if I find myself extremely tired or fatigued.

I find if I fast before bed I like breakfast in the morning. If I eat up until bed and fast In the morning, Ill be able to still function at a high level and feel good as well. For me its less about whether I eat breakfast every day per day, and more about when Ive initiated my IF window for that 24hour period. For me, breakfast (first meal of the day) is usually high fats, moderate carbs, low protein. Then every other meal is moderate carb, high protein, moderate fat.

Hey, fella. I love your videos. If I may offer some assistance; I'm an audio professional and I think you might be using a side-address condenser microphone incorrectly. You have the actual capsule pointed at your desk. I may be wrong but if it truly is a side-address condenser mic, the front side (not the top) should be pointed towards your mouth. Just my 2-cents. I really appreciate your dedication and greatly enjoy your videos. Take care and keep-on-ripping

I have to eat Breakfast, or else I will faint. Sometimes if i make pancakes or something that takes longer than just a few minutes I can feel how my body starts slowing down and if I then don't sit or eat, I will just pass out. Actually happened to me at one point, where I thought I could still get myself some water and then found myself on the floor with my father trying to wake me up. So me skipping breakfast is just a really bad idea.
