My New Training Split (Full Workout Walkthrough) Mario Espinosa: Hey Jeff Medical student from south east US here. When it comes to the teachings we get in medical school, the medical school professors teach what recent research has shown. With newer research showing that dietary cholesterol does not have a significant effect on blood cholesterol levels, the professors teach both the new and more traditional cholesterol teachings. I have also done some research into the dietary cholesterol correlation with blood triglycerides and serum cholesterol, and while I have seen mixed research results, the conclusion I see often is exercise and avoiding a sedentary lifestyle, along with genetic and habitual factors (like smoking, drinking, etc) are major contributors to higher blood lipid levels. While I have seen research showing vegan diets having lower cholesterol levels, I have also read studies with active participants consuming very high levels of dietary cholesterol without any significant increases in blood cholesterol levels. Hopefully soon the science community will come to an agreement and find out exactly the significance of dietary cholesterol and its effects. As for me, I will continue to eat plenty eggs in my diet, but also enjoy a high protein vegan alternative like roasted edamamae. Love the videos Jeff Thanks for gearing the fitness community in a more logic/science/research based direction

Hey Jeff I bought your Glute hypertrophy program and have just finished week 8. My Glutes grew by 3cm, and I also lost body fat over the course of the 8 weeks So so happy with my results and had an awesome time doing the program: )Just a question for next time - should I be reevaluating my 1RM for squats throughout the 8 weeks? When you say to use 75% of my 1RM for example, Do I use my starting point 1RM through the whole 8 weeks? Because I know I definitely got stronger through the program so my 1RM would've gotten higher, but following the workout plan there's not really a day where I'd fit in a session to test my new 1RM. Let me know what you'd recommend. I'm going to restart the program again in a few weeks: )

Hi fellow lifters please check out my ebook 'Guide to Training for Mass' on AmazonIt is an informative guide for newer lifters and can benefit advanced lifters tooExperienced lifters please help me leave a review, thanksCosts 2. 99 and saves months and months of google-ingPreview highlight'. 6. How many reps for size/strength? There is no optimum rep ranges. However, for strength, you should try to stay below 10 reps. For size there is a magic number 8-12. This is drawn from the optimal time under tension of about 30-60 seconds, assuming each rep takes around 4 seconds. Therefore, for size, the focus should be time under tension instead of numbers of reps performed. '

New sub here, great videos, really enjoying the instruction and format. Older guy, weightlifting for 6 months now and going great. Was doing full body 2 to 3 times per week, progressed to PPL. Working out 3 to 6 times per week. Seems like most people recommend PPL rest, PPL rest. I'm finding doing PP together is tough on shoulders since there is some overlap. Is it common got people to do P rest PLP rest PLP. putting the rest between he push and pull day? I dont see this in people doing PPL, so I'm wondering why not.

Cholesterol level is not what causes cardiovascular and heart disease. It's the amount of free radicals that your introduce to your body that changes healthy LDL into unhealthy LDL. Thomas Delauer made a video where he spoke about the mechanism behind it. It's a very complicated system, just like all other biochemical and metabolic pathways in your body. Simply blaming a group of nutrients such as fats and cholesterol is really shallow.

Hey Jeff, loving the new program Purchased it and on week 2. It would be great if you could title these videos following the program so they relate to the actual workout. This one's title was a bit misleading, it would be clearer if it was My New Training Split (Full Legs Workout Walkthrough. I've got some questions about Push and Pull days so looking forward to those vids. Keep up the awesome work

Me: drinks small cup of black coffee wearing ragged old chucks and raggedy basketball shorts and shirt, rushes out the door to get to gym before work. Jeff: Entire meal, pre workout, checks out his shoes, debates which gym equipment to wear from his car, chats with his gym buddies. Me: gets off work. Jeff: still talking to pat at the gym

So jeff, explain why you are trying to reduce the lifespan of all your followers when you do not have all the facts? You are only delaying the video so it seems you made an honest mistake, not that you actively tried to kill people with heart attacks so you could sell supplements. I hope you apologize, it would be the right thing to do.

Just looking for some feed back. Im looking at taking my gym game to the next level. So far I spend atleast 2 hours a day there and my training split is upper body one day and lower body the next with abs workouts almost everyday. I just want to know if this is effective split workout? Any advice would be appreciated thanks

How about an everything you can possibly do with your shoulders video. I like to throw the frisbee in lots of different ways and I think that different throws probably use different shoulder muscles or combinations of shoulder muscles. It would be interesting to know what are all the different ways to work that joint.
