Do you think this has a significant impact on one's metabolism? Looking at Chris Lavado, who has to diet on less than 1500 cals to get show ready, it seems that muscle mass does not necessarily have that great an effect. Are you saying that if he has less muscle, he would have to diet on even less cals?

When my maintanance is 3000 cals(bulking with 3300-3500 cals)and I want to do a minicut for 4 weeks, is there any disadvantage when I drop my calories immediaetly to 2000-2300? Or is it justifable because the period is only 4 weeks long (maybe 5)? Thanks Jeff: )

Smartest explanation for the benefits of reverse dieting I've seen. However I see no reason to not go from cut kcal levels to maintenance level (actual, not calculated) right away.
