I feel like using a study that showcases a bunch of people that lost weight because of money, competition, and social pressure as an example of dieting failing because they no longer stuck to a diet that they were prescribed by their previous external motivators and most likely didn't research themselves is sub-optimal science at best.

High activity levels delayed eating to some extent and low calorie dense foods. Has worked for me. You just eat Greek yogurt with low cal whip cream instead of ice cream. Protein bar instead of cookie. Chipotle type meals instead of pizza and salads for lunch. Give up 25% of flavor for health, vitality, and aesthetics

Thank you for the video. Nothing really new for me but a great confirmation of the things I'm already doing. Also, a huge thanks for putting in the extra effort with those short clips as you explain or make a point. like squatting outside of a restaurant. Those images really drive home the point.

I found that the biggest issue, is MyfitnessPal and nutrition labels are not accurate. I m supposed to be eating in a caloric deficit, and I m fore sure not over eating now that the holidays are over, but I m definitely eating at maintenance. Without even knowing it because of inaccurate info.

One tip I got that helped me was to weigh yourself every morning. I never noticed when I was gaining until I got to a certain point. With daily weigh-ins, it helped me catch that. I also use a bio scale so I know if the change was muscle or fat.

Great video as always but I have to ask, when is the dating video coming out? I remember a while back you posting a poll on IG where you asked people of different body sizes how many dates they get. I am curious to see what you found.

Shouldn t protein intake be at 0. 7-1 g per pound lean body mass? I feel like a 300 pound person who s 30-35% BF shouldn t be eating 300 g of protein if they re trying to maintain a high caloric deficit

There is one more theory that explains weight loss better. And it is hormonal weight loss theory. So the most important thing is insulin which regulates whether body stores calories as a fat or not.

If only MacroFactor was for desktop as well. I work most of the day at home on my PC and I don't particulary enjoy fiddling with mobile apps. Thus I resorted to just tracking with Excel sheet.

Track calories even if you hate it. I've never seen anyone have success who doesn't. If you don't know where you're at you can't navigate to your end destination.
