I agree with him it really comes down to 2 fundamental facts 1 take all your set to fail are super close within 1 and the 2nd is make sure your fully recovered before doing it again if you're older like me it takes about a day sometimes 2 to fully recover if your younger you will probably recovere in 6 to 12 and your muscles get stimulated way easier for older make sure you hit fail for 2 sets 1 will work as well but you need to hit fail if you dont you wont grow if your older I use wieghts so 5 to 6 reps get me to fail but its so important you must go to fail and for older it shouldn't take more then 2 days to recover but a day is normal then simply do it again and you will grow its a guarantee simple stuff take your workout to fail for 2 sets recover a day and do it again this system will get anyone growing

This is my 49th year in the gym. I train Mon-Thu. Average 40 mins per workout. I do 2-3 exercises, 3 sets and 10-20 reps per body part 2x week. Example Biceps Tues machine curl 3x 15, 12, 10 and 3 sets of 21's, Thurs cable curl 3x 15, 12, 10 and concentration curl on 45 degree bench 3x 15, 12, 10, Hammer curls 3x15-10, rest 60-90 sec in between sets. I do 3 exercises on Wed/Thurs since I'll have 3-4 days off before starting cycle again. NO deads or bb squats. Already had L1-4 surgery trying to be strong. I've got more muscle now, leaner than I was in my 20s. I teach all the teens and 20s in my gym the secret. TUN, failure on last set, 8 hrs sleep, 18 hr fast, 1 gal water, 150-200 grams protein (carnivore/keto diet, no alcohol.

Great advice. I’m in a similar mindset. Over 30 years of training and competive physique completions. Now 53, at 155 and 10% bodyfat. 8 sets per body part per week. For example, for chest one day, 2 exercises, 2 sets each. Minus basic warmup. Set 1, 2 reps in reserve. Set 2, failure. For me failure is when form starts to breakdown. Simple pattern. One day Incline DB press, followed a Pec deck. 3 to 4 days later, Flat DB press, followed by incline hammer strength flys. Do the same for back and legs. Shoulders, tris, biceps, are just 6 sets per week. 2 sets, 2 reps in reserve, then a set to failure. Followed by different exercise, usually a cable movement at light weight, that allows for 15 to 20 reps.

I thought I understood fitness until I read The Forgotten Method of Body Transformation by Andrew Parker. I used to jump from one workout plan to another, constantly trying to find something that would finally work. After applying some of the ideas from the book, I started approaching everything differently. The biggest change wasn’t even physicalit was finally becoming consistent. If you ever get the chance to read The Forgotten Method of Body Transformation, don’t overlook it.

What is your routine timeline like Is it including your warmup I've been figuring out how claims of workouts not lasting more than hour is feasible. I do a 5min full-body warm-up and stretching then 4 main compounds and 2 isolations with 3 sets each including warm-up set, the first set being the warm-up. I rest about 2-3mins after each set or until my heartrate is back around 85-90s. I still end up staying over an hour in the gym.

The only way to build a lot of muscle fast is to take an anabolic steroids. You know that. You can build muscles using resistance bands, never mind using iron if you've never lifted in your life but if you want to build a lot of muscle fast, you need the gear. It's a simple as that isn't it I'm not even watching this video because it is either click bait or are you telling lies and giving out false promises

As a 52 year old man I want to be as strong and athletic as possible. So in turn I would listen to absolutely nothing this guy says in this viseo. Im 6' 220lbs. I can dunk a basketball bench 315 9x, squat 385x5, deadlift 440x3. I think im doing pretty good. Progressive overloading every week when I can.

When you've lived over 50 years and are in great health, you realize there's no rush to reach your maximum, natural, reachable musculature and 2 sets becomes a safe and stress-free path to growth or maintenance!

You've won the lottery of life by being in the States, pal. Your content grabbed my attention over a decade ago. You gave ectomorphs like me hope that it was actually possible for us to build muscle too.

I feel like everyone forgets about joint health, I usually do 3 day PPL with 4 sets per muscle per week to failure partials. The 1x frequency gives your joints 7 days to recover

I guess i am looking for excuses. I turn 40 very soon and never stepped foot in a gym, my fear is poor form and just straight up doing it wrong and hurting myself. Great video!

It’s actually insane how TestoGenesis Protocol by Angelico is still not everywhere. Feels like people only discover it when they’re already late.

So you lost me. You said about 12 sets per muscle group per week. Then you said work muscle groups twice a week. is that what you said
