I've been doing a lot of curls, lateral raises, etc. with my back pressed into a door jamb during the pandemic (no access to a gym) and it's made a huge difference. At first I tried it just to keep myself from swaying but it really does force me to use primarily the muscles I'm targeting. I'm in my 50s and I'm seeing gains I haven't had for decades. Thanks for the help (and the inspiration) Ryan. Cheers.

My ears perked up and tail started wagging when I heard Ryan mention -Bowflex-. because that's what I use to workout (well, Bowflex Blaze, in addition to some Powerblock dumbbells. I find what Ryan mentions certainly works, along with 21's, supersets, etc. Overall though, it's all about the mind-muscle connection. I get an incredible burn.

Now I noticed there-s a couple of what appears to be bruises on right inside bicep. Has your wife been man-handling you again? However in your defense those could be hickies? Just a strange place for her to be - well you know -. Didn-t want you to think I was being partial to either party involved.

Dude, I'm a fatbody starting out, not trying to get ripped, just trying to shed some fat and fill out. Working on my arms, I'm finding that even isolating my biceps following your tips, I'm seeing little growth, but my triceps are turning into beef roasts that could feed a family of 10. Supidatshit!

Hey Ryan, loving your videos and was wondering if you could do one on the TRX.
I have to travel a lot for work and I take my TRX with me so that I can have a consistent workout. Would be great to hear what you think are some of the best exercises with it.

If I can only commit 3 days a week to stick to one of your workouts would you recommend the garage style or ppl program? Also, do i have access to the program forever or do i have to rebuy it every 30 days like a crappy subscription? (i could use help with the mind muscle connection if that helps)

After 2 years out the gym due to a number of excuses not reasons! I'm back training, you've inspired me to stop being a b---h and be accountable for my insecurities and what is becoming more a more like a bag of milk body. At 31 im done making excuses. Love these vids pal keep em up.

I've been looking for something like this.
The first few weeks of working out are always weird and uncomfortable, however when you start to do physical tasks with ease it's one hell of a feeling!
Obviously the body confidence tends to improve.

Yo rye! Aye man, can you do a video explaining dumbbell partials. Used the preacher bench lateral and that shit hit good! But always heard dumbbell partials are very effective but just not sure of the mechanics.
