Swimming is tough. You need to invest a lot of your time to practice in order to improve. But the time you spend out of the swimming pool is just as important as the time you spend swimming. If you are new here, welcome! Every Friday we upload a new swimming video, most of the time is a tutorial, other times is more inspirational and sometimes it is just for entertainment. If that sounds like something you are into consider subscribing. So how can you use your time out of the swimming pool to improve? Well what many swimmers dont understand is that the recovery phase is just as important as the training. The first and most obvious thing you can do to recover well is sleep. I actually did some research and was surprised on the profound impact a good sleeping habit can have on athletic performance. Here is some of what I found. Sources: Researchers speculate that deep sleep helps improve athletic performance because this is the time whengrowth hormoneis released. Growth hormone stimulates muscle growth and repair, bone building andfat burning, and helps athletes recover. Sleep is also necessary for learning a new skill, so this phase of sleep may be critical for some athletes. SWORDFISH Program

I've been swimming for years but everyone is faster than me on my swim team. They all are about my age, 12-13 do the same practice, but have longer legs, torsos, and broader shoulders, and me being a short 4 ft and 10 in Asian. Do you know what to do to swim faster? Or am I just at a disadvantage? I have a swim meet coming up

a little suggestion, when making a new video, you can speak louder or bring the mic closer to your mouth, so I can hear clearly without turning up the volume too much, or when I watch next video, I always am annoyed by the loud sound. hope you understand what I mean! and your videos really help me a lot, thank you! XD

Is there any benefit in jumping into a Hot tub/sauna/steam room after a swim workout? Maybe helps relaxing the muscles?
