I'm late to competitive swimming. My US Masters coach insist that I use the grab start. I'm the only one on the team doing this start. I believe I'm the only one at meets doing this start. I'm self conscious about it too.
My problem is my legs - bending at the knee.

When AI software programs for swimming come about based on your height, weight, length of arms, legs etc will start seeing times drop again.

What do I do to become stronger if I need to swim with one hand and carry something with the other while staying afloat pls?

This is what i call high Quality Content. I bet most of the coaches teach this the wrong way to their swimmers.
