Great information. I am not vegetarian, but I do love eating vegetables, seeds and nuts. I like to balance my diet with meats and veggies. I am lactose intolerant so I use organic or all natural almond or coconut milk. Would these be considered a good source of protein while trying to loose weight and gain muscle? I like to use the milk in smoothies.

It's irritating that you feel vegans/vegetarians have less protein options. simply untrue especially since most meat eaters don't even consider the meat alternatives, lentils, the various variations of beans, and seitin.
