Learn how to work out around an injury This week the star of our Youtube videos, Jess, has injured herself. She's got a broken wrist and will be in a cast for 6 weeks. But that's not stopping her! Today she shows you how to work out with an injury and delivers you an amazing full body workout! This total body workout includes the following exercises: 1) 40 yard sprint -- Or if you're indoors, do high knees for about 40 seconds. Do this 6 times. 2) 10 Jump Squats 3) 10 Bird Poses -- Engage core muscles, hamstrings and legs. The goal is to get parallel to the ground. 4) 10 Back Lunges with shoulder press -- can be done with or without weights 5) V-Sit Reaches -- Touch toes and stretch out legs and arms simultaneously. As you can see, you can still get amazing full body workouts in, even with a wrist injury! While Jess set this up as a beach workout, it can easily be modified into a home workout by swapping out the sprint with 40 seconds of high knees. This is the ultimate no excuses workout!

Great video, Jess! I've sprained my lower back before and it prevented me from doing bodyweight core exercises and total body workouts. I had to rest a full day for the pain to be reduced considerably before doing my own physical therapy with 6 Pack Promise with a physioball, and then end it off with some back stretches at the end of the core workout and before sleep.

This really does help to lose weight, in basketball practice all we did was basically run the whole time & I lost 35 lbs in like 2 month. I wish I was still in highschool & on the team lol: /
