Grab a towel! Not to wipe your sweat. to tone your muscles! Confused? Don't be. Just grab a couple and push play: ) Ruska: My arms are quite weak, so I always dread arm days in the workout calendar. It would be wonderful if there were beginner's variations. I mean, doing pushups with a sidewinder as a total beginner? Motivation can only go so far, and I am quite demotivated and unhappy when I realize I didn't do a good workout day, just because it was arms with advanced movements. So please, Cassey, make a beginner's arm workout which I can do to strengthen my arms until I am strong enough to at least try these moves.

Cassey, I'm very confused about the Star Sliders, because it looks like your right leg was extended forward for both sets, while your left leg never extended at all, and stayed back the whole time, which would be like working only one side.
If I follow you, it feels like I'm only working one side. If I modify it, it feels wrong because then I'm not in sync with you. Will you please clear this up for me? I'm sorry, I just want to understand the move and make sure I'm doing it right.

this is what I was about to say! I've been doing this workout for months and thinking I was getting it wrong (because I'm always doing it along) but now I realize that the moves are not the same: / Cassey prob. didn't notice at the time but I too would like to know if it's top leg front or crossed! o. o

you should really tell the audience before starting the work out that they will need paper plates or something if they aren't on a slippery floor. I had to stop mid work out to grad the nearest magazines, and that did not work very well. all I ended up with was shredded magazines.

Me too! But mine is mild hehe. Is there such thing as a wrist guard? Not sure. If there is maybe you could try it. Or maybe use your knees instead of legs? or use fists? I try to go along with her but of i can't take it i just stop, flex my wrists, then try it again.

Didn't have a towel small enough to not get in the way so I used a heavy stretch resistance band (the green one. Also, for anyone who finds that magazines rip, I used notepads (mine were mini Pukka pads) and they worked pretty well.

I dont get the star move! When you do the other side you start crossing you legs instead of faning them out in the other direction. Made it infinitelly harder and also thats a different move, so what should I do now?

If you hate your inner thighs like i do, because of sweat or any reason, do the drive by inner thighs workout everyday. I do it after every day of workouts and just after like the 4th time i saw a difference!

um. what's with all the hate/perve comments? cassey's workouts have helped so many people and if you can't at least respect that, move along. with or without doing a pilates move, your choice.

I used hand towels on feet, it made it harder with more traction then the plates or the magazines. It wasn't as bad as it was with the substitutions for the carpet.
