I think the whole point of this video was to show that if you using his app, you need to make sure you can do all those things prior.
I am sure he gets messages all the time saying -cant do muscle ups! your app is lying! - yet they cannot do the basic requirements to actually do pull ups correctly. Clearly this guy could already do them but that was no the point of this video.

Hey guys I'm going to teach u how to planche but first u must be able to do this
Maltese for 20 seconds
Front lever for 50 seconds
200 push-ups
50 squats
The magic yellow hat trick
Anyways guys I'm going to go on vacation call me once you meet the requirements.

Like this demonstration in calisthenics, life can be said to be nothing more than -micro-movements of muscl[e-ing up to seemingly impossible challenges] broken down into individual exercises. -

man people hat on calisthenics way too much, like this is crazy, id like to see someone who benches 405 do 3 muscle ups
ps: this really helped, i got the muscle up now!

The way you break the steps and explain why they are needed is just amazing. I can do 10 to 15 pull ups so I'm definitely trying this. good job bro.

this video and how easily he did his muscle ups at the beginning of this video makes me think that this guy could do a muscle up when he was like 2
reply

First time I attempted a muscle up, I came down too fast and tore the skin off my thumb. CONTROL YOUR WAY DOWN.

I dont understand how he couldnt do a muscle up like his pullup form was so solid it almost became a muscle up
reply

If those are the requirements for muscle ups. I don't see myself doing one anytime in the near future.
