There is no track. They used to have the same ride at WDW and DLP as well. Still have it in DL and Tokyo. I was at TDL and SDL last week. SDL is the worst of them since there is little to see from canoes that cannot be seen from walkways around the area. Guides are basically in control of the canoes.

It seems to be on a track but maybe I'm wrong. Also, I'm assuming the water is only what 4-6ft deep, is that how they get around having guests wear life jackets? If it was in America they would probably still require them.

well well well, I'd heard guests weren't into the rowing but that looks so scenic and I'd expect it to be even better when the trees grow out, and who knew the iguana was there love the tree roots too.

It has to on a track, it would be a nightmare if there wasn't some sort of control, but just enough to let them think they are actually doing something.

There's no payoff for something like this (as in some kind of dramatic moment that makes it interesting, which is why it seems unappealing to me.

Only in China would one of the rides at a vacation resort be 10 solid minutes of exhaustion-inducing labour. That's racist. ding
