To enjoy this 3D documentary about Oman, remember to wear anaglyph 3D glasses whenever the symbol appears on your screen. Oman is a country with a long and proud cultural heritage and a land of a spectacular visual beauty. But not too many people know about it. Oman is the oldest state in Arabia. Its history is tracing back thousands of years. Home of Sindbad the Sailor and the biblical Frankincense trade, the Sultanate was one of the earliest nations to establish relations with the west and still enjoys nearly two centuries of friendship. Through the mythical Arabia Felix, discover ancient Arabian heritage and stunning scenery in an exotic, unspoiled land. You'll enjoy bustling Arab souqs whose exotic goods and spice-laden atmosphere will leave lasting memories. Bruce: I love Oman having spent almost 3 years in different areas. I love the place, the people, and just the country in general. Very western (American) friendly, most everybody speaks good English and are always happy to embrace you as a friend. They just like to know you. Genuinely good and kind people!

I love this country, literally adore. It is undoubtedly the jewel of Arabia, the most beautiful Arab country. It has everything a beautiful oasis, oil, wealth, amazing people, tolerant, nonviolent Islam. Certainly a good ruler, as well as the largest biodiversity in the Arabian Peninsula, ancient monuments and modern cities. Deserts and beautiful mountains, the sea. If he had extra Oman and Zanzibar and Pemba, he could not match his or any other country for its beauty. Competed with the most beautiful countries in the world, if it already is not among them without Zanzibar.

Sorry to sound harsh but it is strange to see so many Indian Hindus in Oman. Indians hate Muslims and are committing all sorts if atrocities in India including lynching people even children in broad daylight for being Muslim. Besides genocidal riots like Gujrat. In short run they might bring currency and prop up real estate but in long run they will harm these countries. They will harm Oman.

Happy Nation. Oasis of Peace in this crazy region. Liked it very much. That's what ABSENCE of any kind of democracy brings- HAPPINESS, STABILITY and PEACE! People are HUMBLE and WARM and peaceful; they honor and follow their traditions.
So PLEASE NO WESTERN DEMOCRACY EVER! It's a bubonic plague of 21st century / So many countries were destroyed in the name of DEMOCRACY

Amazing! I was there for just one day, in November of 2016, for a dhow cruise. It was part of a day trip from Dubai, UAE. i hope to return to the Sultanate of Oman to explore Muscat, the souks, the mosques, the desert, the wadis - as much as I can see. Much love from the United States!

I was in the great Sultanate of Oman in the '90s. I was in Seeb & Barka I love it there: clean, modern. the Omani men, women & children were respectful & kind to expats. I have respect & admiration of His Highness Sultan Qaboos- a great leader!

Great video! I challenge you to be careful when you use the word exotic. Why is this exotic to you? Is it because it s different from your western point of view? Then why is the west always considered the standard of normality? Thanks!

I am a Portuguese happily living in Oman. Definitely the best country in the Arabian Gulf to live in. An example that tradition and culture can be side by side with development and modernity. Very kind and educated people as well!

I live here for more than a year now. the world must know that the people of Oman are more beatiful than their country itself. they are extremely friendly, merciful, respectful and humble unlike the d other arab countries.
