Cleaning your windshield when you're making a video is a great idea. Using one of the many awesome backgrounds would be nice too for when you're speaking, not the barren wasteland as you mentioned. For antiquarian book lovers don't miss Ferguson Rare Books in Skeabost Bridge. And the Skeabost hotel next door is world class. The weather on Skye is some of the fastest changing in the world. Literally. Weather systems arrive with great change daily off the Atlantic. Portree has some of the best smoked salmon in the world. (Especially on the cream cheese bagels) 70 degrees one day, snow the next, and back to 75 degrees the next.

WRONG - YOU DO NOT NEED A CAR TO SEE SKYE!
You can hire a bicycle and camp or use an electric bicycle or moped like I did. or you can go on a tour bus or use the bus service that runs through skye or hitch hike.
We have Americans that come to Skye ALL the time in their big gas guzziling SUV's destroying and polluting Skye. The number of accidents tourists have and cause on these roads (because they think an 'A road' is an interstate highway) because they don't know how to drive on them.

If you were walking the isle of Skye is great BUT I went there a couple of years ago and would have loved to get down to the water side but I found it virtually impossible. Most of the roads are 50 to 100 ft above the water, because of the single track roads there is nowhere to park and walk down to the waters edge, every bay with a view has a house being built there. houses being built all over the place! I kid you not, everywhere you look someone is building a bloody house.

You do not need a car. try cycling around Skye next time or use a dedicated tour bus etc. if you are with family.
Or come back with an electric car. And watch out for cyclists! I am sorry to say that 3 people cut me up real bad at high speed and 2 out of 3 the number plates where American. and I got it on video!
Please tell everyone to be careful when driving on Skye, roads are very twisty with blind corners and summits and there are many cyclists!

i am sorry, but your little video is crap! get some info before you spout crap about f--k all you know about, LOOK to your right and there are big fuc. mountains to your right, and behind you the view is all the way to the northen isles. TIT

Why did you pick that noisy place to do your video? This road is the descent to Sconser ferry port and really busy. So many beautiful places you could have used. Why here? I used to live in Skye so I know it very well.

I would like Americans to stop using words like cool, awsome, insane, badass, like, like, etc because it makes them sound inarticulate, childish, and uneducated.
Sorry, but that is a universal opinion.
Hint - USE WORDS!

Lots of mispronunciations, but makes up for it with enthusiasm and gusto! Sad to hear that crowding makes it hard to find lodgings and food -- reservations even for eating in pubs?

OMG, Highlander reference! I loved watching that show (and its spinoff) back in the 90s. I was thinking it immediately and was so surprised to hear a reference. It's so very rare.
