Imagine tinny ants that crawl into your ears and nose and anus while you sleep so that heebie-jeebie feeling you have when you wake is not your imagination but quite literal.
Clouds of mosquitoes and gnats constantly biting and sucking you to insanity.
Imagine driving in a city where people can't grasp the concept of staying in your own lane. Where incompetent inconsiderate drivers are everywhere you look. Drivers that poor through red lights until they completely block an intersection. Drivers that change lanes in the middle of an intersection. Drivers that get in the left turning lane to turn right and cut everyone off in there way. Roads that are so bad that they destroy your vehicle within months. Police looking the other way while everyone runs red lights and break common traffic laws all day. I had four officers run out into the street and force me out of my car at gunpoint because i smoked the tires pulling into traffic in a hurry. First time having AR's pressing against my head. This country is very difficult for a gringo to adjust to.
Homes are so poorly made that chunks of concrete fall off the front of your building and crush people to death when you slam your door. Masses of poor scumbags cut the power wires from the poles on your street to burn off the insulation leaving a cloud of noxious smoke that lingers throughout the city. Scumbags that abduct old people and force them to withdraw all their money from their accounts or die. Scumbags that see tourists as a free meal ticket. Kidnapping children to hold hostage for money. Every dumpster has legs hanging out and every intersection has the wretched asking for handouts. Every day so many people happily give what they can to the wretched and then go home and pleasure themselves in their mirror just so proud of the good deeds they have done.
Welcome to Brazil.

If a tourist can reach a 3 or 4 big cities or tourist places. two visits can be sufficient to get a ideia from Brazil.
There's mountains on south. beaches on northeast, the forest. some good big roads too.
They're sun October to march everyday single day on northeast. 5 star's hotel 200 to 400 usd a day all meal and drinks included.
Plan all your visits and walk less on big cities for safety. don't ask info on streets. ask on restaurants, malls etc or Google it.
They're little cities that are amazing to walk and shots photos. like Gramado- RS, Paraty-RJ and some Minas Gerais historical cities and its safe too.

Could you do a video on your 5 or 10 favorite countries and maybe I've been to some or had enough time to judge some and I can compare your favorite countries to mine. My favorites are The Netherlands, Mexico, NZ, Austria, France and China. I suppose ones favorites can't include their home country. From watching your videos before, I would say Italy and Ireland are on your list.

This is a great video! Im American, but Ive completely submerged myself in the Brazilian culture with all the Brazilian friends Ive made here in Orlando the last 7 years and have also completely learned the language. Im completely in love with Brazil and its people! Ive been there only 3 times but plan on going back many more!

Absolutely accurate, I'm Brazilian. May I add that, when booking Uber via the app, you may receive a message from the driver asking where are you going. That is illegal, don't answer, the driver is obligated to take you to your destination, no matter how close or far it is. Otherwise, Uber is way better than a regular cab.

I used to live in Brazil when I was a little kid - wonderful place. Your review was pretty accurate. Good job. Yes, they do drive like crazies, hahaha! Especially the truck drivers. And avoid foggy days on the highway - engavetamento! LOL. Loved feijoada and cerveja. Cafezinho, tambem.

If Argentina/Uruguay were wealthier, there would a lot more snowbirds and just sunseeking tourists in general along the coast from Rio de Janeiro northwards, and especially in Bahia and the Northeast, during the Southern Hemisphere winter!
